Betfred Big Winner: Pensioner punter pockets £30k from £2.10 Bingo bet
A pensioner punter recognises his wife loves him out of the house... and he's happy to oblige, visiting his local Betfred virtually every morning!
The 77-year-old from Cumbria is now celebrating a £30,045 win from just a £2.10 wager on the ever-popular Bonus King Bingo game.
The all-smiling Liverpool fan said: "I used to travel all over the world with my engineering job, so my wife is used to her own company - and then after Covid she shall we say encouraged me to get out and about.
"That's particularly the case in the morning, when she enjoys her own company. She is happy and I get to Betfred where the staff are great - very pleasant indeed."
The winner, who is a great grandfather, added: "I have been with Betfred for a couple of years now. I enjoy the company at the shop. My wife can't believe I have won so much and keeps asking if it's true. She will believe me when I book a holiday in Tenerife!"
