Betfred Big Winner: Punter sees win more than doubled in bonuses

Betfred boss Fred Done has lived up to his name as the Bonus King, with a loyal customer winning £56,000 on the horses – more than half in thanks to the bookie’s Best Odds Guaranteed promotion.

The 50-year-old sales manager from Surrey took just 10 minutes to make his selections at Wolverhampton.

He placed three bets – a Canadian and two accumulators, all each-way for a total stake of £17 – and went through the card with Smasher, Peachey Carnehan, Gustav Graves, Distinction and Pysanka all winning.

Thanks to BOG, the jubilant punter’s windfall was boosted by an incredible £30,000.

“It’s a very sizeable win and I have put most of it in savings and bought some premium bonds.

“My wife’s 50^th birthday is coming up, so I’m getting her a special present – a new watch.

“She’s away at the moment and I messaged her to say I’ve had the best win of my life and all she said was to be sensible!

“I’ve been backing horses since I was 18. My grandfather taught me all about multiple bets.”
