Betfred Customer wins £200,000 from £1 stake on Nifty 50!

A hard-working mum from Suffolk has won a whopping £200,000 from a ONE-POUND bet on Nifty 50.

Araya Curry, who works as a cleaner in a hospice by day and a restaurant waitress by night, won big on Betfred's own numbers game and now plans to move to her home country of Thailand with her HGV driver husband and their two children.

She said: "We had a 10-year plan to acquire land in Thailand and go and live there. That's now been brought forward and work has already started.

Husband Andy, 45, who met Araya on holiday 20 years ago, added: "I was working as usual and my phone was blowing up with Araya telling me she had won so much. I still can't believe you can win £200k from a £1 bet.

"We want to thank Betfred boss Fred Done from the bottom of our hearts."

Explaining the rationale behind choosing the winning numbers 8, 10, 21, 23 and 45, Araya went on: "It was fate how I went for those numbers for Nifty 50 as a friend who was doing the National Lottery left them on a table in our home.

"I have only recently switched to the Nifty 50 and this was something like my 10th go on it."
