Welsh Grand National Odds

This is an Extra Place race meaning that Betfred are paying 5 Places instead of 4 for each-way bets at 1/5 odds.

Monbeg Genius @ 4/1

Jonjo & AJ O'Neill's runner is 3-3 at this track including a pair of wins over fences at just shy of 3m. Beaten 12-lengths when second behind Fontaine Collonges at Haydock on comeback but sharper here and stamina could be key.

14:50 Chepstow - Winner Monbeg Genius

Odds correct at time of publishing.

Galia Des Liteaux @ 11/2

Dan Skelton's mare travelled well for a long way in the Grand National at Aintree back in the spring before fading. Shaped well in the Coral Gold Cup at Newbury last month but must prove she stays this far.

14:50 Chepstow - Winner Galia Des Liteaux

Odds correct at time of publishing.

Where It All Began @ 13/2

Easily won a Grand National Trial at Fairyhouse in February for the Elliott team and finished eighth in the main event back there in April. First-time blinkers and a fair mark here.

14:50 Chepstow - Winner Where It All Began

Odds correct at time of publishing.

Jubilee Express @ 13/2

Lightly-raced over fences with four runs behind him, winning over a trip in excess of three-and-a-half-miles at Haydock (soft) in March. He is only 4lb higher now and rates an interesting contender as the second runner for Sam Thomas.

14:50 Chepstow - Winner Jubilee Express

Odds correct at time of publishing.

Iron Bridge @ 9/1

A second contender for Jonjo & AJ O'Neill and the chosen mount of Jonjo Jr in the saddle. He ran well in the Scottish National in April and last month's Carlisle comeback third was a solid start under a big weight.

14:50 Chepstow - Winner Iron Bridge

Odds correct at time of publishing.

Fontaine Collonges @ 11/1

He landed a decent pot on his seasonal return for Venetia Williams at Haydock last month and Ned Fox helps offset some of the subsequent ratings-hike, although he still has top-weight to defy in this attritional contest.

14:50 Chepstow - Winner Fontaine Collonges

Odds correct at time of publishing.

Iwilldoit @ 12/1

The winner of this race in 2021, he was third last year as Nassalam scored and is now rated 6lb lower for Sam Thomas, an excellent target trainer. First run in 314 days for the 11-year-old.

14:50 Chepstow - Winner Iwilldoit

Odds correct at time of publishing.

Stuzzikini @ 12/1

Strong stayer for Gordon Elliott, he won the competitive Troytown Handicap Chase at Navan last month, he could be suited by this test and is one of two for the trainer.

14:50 Chepstow - Winner Stuzzikini

Odds correct at time of publishing.

The Newest One @ 12/1

Victorious on chasing return at Cheltenham over 3m1f in October and has twice run well there since in competitive events. Handicapper has offered him a chance for Nigel & Sam Twiston-Davies.

14:50 - Winner The Newest One

Odds correct at time of publishing.

Val Dancer @ 14/1

Mel Rowley's charge boasts figures of 311133-1 over fences and looked good on his comeback at Carlisle (3m2f, good to soft) last month when defeating Iron Bridge in third. Rated 5lb higher now.

14:50 Chepstow - Winner Val Dancer

Odds correct at time of publishing.

Your Own Story @ 16/1

Lucinda Russell's charge was pulled up behind some of these on comeback at Carlisle in November but has since run well in second over this sort of trip in the Borders National at Kelso.

14:50 Chepstow - Winner Your Own Story

Odds correct at time of publishing.

No Hubs No Hoobs @ 16/1

He came to life in the spring with a pair of wins at Wincanton and another at Exeter, latterly over 3m4½f on heavy ground. Well held at Wincanton in his comeback run and needs more off this mark.

14:50 Chepstow - Winner No Hubs No Hoobs

Odds correct at time of publishing.

Atlanta Brave @ 16/1

Stamina threatens to be a big asset for Kerry Lee's runner based on his early form over fences and he didn't run badly when fourth at Uttoxeter (3m, soft) last month having attempted to make the running amongst good rivals.

14:50 Chepstow - Winner Atlanta Brave

Odds correct at time of publishing.

Evies Vladimir @ 18/1

Gavin Cromwell's charge was running a decent race at Fairyhouse on his comeback this month when he fell at the third last. He's untested over this sort of trip but the yard's UK runners command respect.

14:50 Chepstow - Winner Evies Vladimir

Odds correct at time of publishing.

Amateur @ 66/1

Experienced chaser signed off last season with a win over a marathon trip at Ffos Las but he has failed to complete in three runs since coming back from a break.

14:50 Chepstow - Winner Amateur

Odds correct at time of publishing.

Classic Concorde @ 100/1

His record over fences shows just one win in 17 attempts and that came more than four years ago. He has won six hurdles races since last spotted in this sphere but was tailed off at Cheltenham in October.

14:50 - Winner Classic Concorde

Odds correct at time of publishing.
