Philadelphia Park Race 9 (20:41) – No3 Get Set

There are some talented Pennsylvania-breds in this line up, with No2 Young Squire and No3 Golden Candy filling the places in a similar event here on 7 January.

No3 Golden Candy was coming off a lay-off since August so may be able to reverse the form. He has speed but No6 Party At Sam's and No7 Magicnthemoonlight seem quicker early. Both runners are dangerous, especially if one of them makes the lead on his own.

No3 Get Set may be the answer here. He finished well clear of No1 Prince of Rain when a fine second at this level last month. The eight-year-old has a versatile running style so should be able to run his race no matter what the race flow.

20:41 Philadelphia Park - Winner Get Set

Odds correct at time of publishing.

Turf Paradise Race 3 (20:53) – No1 Dancing Porky

Most of this field of newly-turned three-year-olds drop sharply in class in an effort to win career race number two. No2 Manzoni ran third in a state-bred stake before being well beaten in a pair of deeper open events. He looks a big player on the class drop.

No3 Buttermaker caught a very deep field the last time he ran in a sprint on dirt. He has a chance off his maiden victory over No4 Desert Breeze in November.

Even in a small field, a horse who can sit off likely lively early fractions and finish should go well. No1 Dancing Porky could be that runner. He's only raced up to five furlongs at Turf Paradise and should improve for more ground.

No8 Gun Powder could be anything. He's not raced since winning on debut at Prairie Meadows in June. He's been working well for his return.

20:53 Turf Paradise - Winner Dancing Porky

Odds correct at time of publishing.

Turf Paradise Race 4 (21:22) – No3 Sea of Liberty

No5 Picahouse showed improved form running first time for his trainer last month. That was on dirt. If he repeats that run here, he's likely to double up. He did run okay on his one start on turf so has to be feared on the surface switch.

No3 Sea of Liberty also ran well on the main track last time. He's proven on the grass with four victories. His trainer is far less successful than that of No5 Picahouse. She did win for the first time at this meet recently. He may be the play at the odds.

No7 Northcut made a fine comeback when a close-up third in a similar event to this one last month. That was his first start since July so may improve second time back. He's one for the shortlist, going for a trainer continuing to have lots of winners.

No8 Stormin Galileo is two from two on the turf. He's been working well for his local debut so has a look of a live one.

21:22 Turf Paradise - Winner Sea Of Liberty

Odds correct at time of publishing.
