US Horse Racing Tips: Dettori can get a winner at Belmont at the Big A

Monday was a disaster, Tuesday was exceptional, Wednesday was profitable, this rollercoaster ride that is betting on the horses.
We had a winner and a longshot each-way place yesterday and we head to Belmont at the Big A for all three selections today, including a potential win for Frankie Dettori in our US Horse Racing Tips for Thursday evening...

18:05 Belmont at the Big A:
We start our Thursday evening tipping with the opening race on the card at the Belmont at the Big A meet at Aqueduct. This five-and-a-half furlong race for two-year-olds is slated as an Extra Place Race on Betfred, with the company paying out three places rather than two on an each-way bet.
The field has attracted a decent looking crop of debutants but I am drawn to Honestly. Sired by the Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile winner Goldencents, this filly has been impressing in recent breezes including going 4f in 47.80s just a fortnight ago. This is good-looking speed for such a young horse. Javier Castellano has been booked to ride her and the odds we may potentially get are well worth it.
She goes into this one priced-up at 8/1 in the US Pools. That feels like a big number and if we get anything like that when Betfred sets their odds later today, I’m very happy to play this one each-way. There is win potential here but at those odds, an each-way play would be profitable should she hit the board.

19:07 Belmont at the Big A:
We are staying in New York for our second selection of the night and I like Mouffy in the Perfect Sting Stakes to bring home her first win of the year.
This five-year-old has been consistently hitting the board in Graded Stakes company in recent months but has failed to cross the line first since a victory at Ellis Park last August. A drop in class here though should put her in a great spot to get back on top.
With Frankie Dettori in town to ride and a firm inner turf track expected to help her turn of speed, I like her to come out on top in what should be a competitive race. If we can get Evens or longer, I’ll take that.
21:52 Belmont at the Big A:
The Grade 3 Victory Line Stakes is the headline race on the card at the New York track today and a small field of five has been entered as we go all Belmont at the Big A for Thursday's column.
This number though includes shipper Emery, who heads north from Kentucky after an extremely positive win in the Leslie’s Lady Overnight Stakes. This Brad Cox-trained filly took a few awkward steps out of the gate and had to go four-wide at the turn but still cruised home down the stretch to win with relative ease.
Tyler Gaffalione has been tabbed to ride and all signs point to this being a soft landing spot for her to get her first win at Graded Stakes level. This is a good-looking filly and this is my Nap of the Day over in the States. We are looking at even-money when the market opens closer to Post Time.
