Horse Racing Tips: Court can deliver the final verdict

There isn’t too much happening on the racing front on Monday, with just two meetings taking place across Britain and no action in Ireland.
Carlisle get us underway with an eight-race card and there’s some soft in the description on the hurdles course there. Kempton follows swiftly after and the going is good all round for their seven-race fixture. We have picked out our three strongest fancies to follow on Monday and they include a handicapper for Neil King who can continue his progression from last season.
Horse Racing Tips - Monday, November 10
12:15 Carlisle - Harbour Island @ 9/4
The Olly Murphy and Sean Bowen combination has been pretty difficult to ignore in recent weeks and, although they haven’t sustained the ridiculous run they were on a while back, they are still landing plenty of winners.
HARBOUR ISLAND is set to make his first start over hurdles here and he clearly has a decent engine and at least a little bit of talent. He’s a distant relative of Champion Hurdle winner Binocular and is unbeaten in two starts under rules so far.
There was plenty to like about his performance on debut at Wetherby in December and he appeared out of the fog to score comfortably, with Brian Hughes on board. It’s noted that the form hasn’t worked out too well, but he did it in good style nonetheless.
Following up under a penalty at Ffos Las after that, the extra weight made no difference and he beat a promising Nigel Twiston-Davies debutant by a length-and-a-half. Hurdles can encourage further progress and he should be up to winning at this level.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
14:00 Kempton - Cuban Court @ 8/1
It sometimes takes a while for horses to work out what the job is and that was definitely the case with Neil King’s CUBAN COURT. The penny finally dropped last season and three of his last five starts, the first of which came in Class 4 company at Doncaster.
He returned to winning ways at Huntingdon in March, where he won with plenty in hand, and was impressive when following up over the same course and distance off a 3lb higher mark next time.
King’s seven-year-old ran well for a long way on seasonal debut at Uttoxeter last month, but just ran out of steam approaching the last and weakened after that. He should improve for the run with that in mind and can continue his progression if doing so.

15:05 Kempton - She Is For Me Boys @ 9/4
It’s definitely interesting that connections are so keen to send SHE IS FOR ME BOYS chasing so quickly, especially after just three starts over hurdles.
Jamie Snowden’s mare has won two of those starts and finished second on her rules debut at Plumpton in April.
Impressive when getting off the mark at Fontwell in May, she easily put 14 lengths between her and the runner-up, although she was helped by a faller at the last. She proved that was no fluke however, winning well under penalty over 2m3f next time.
The six-year-old is an Irish point winner so fences are likely to suit and there could be any amount of improvement still to come, now tackling handicaps for the first time. A mark of 104 looks pretty generous off the back of two successes.
