Southwell Tips: Halaand to find the target
Southwell hosts a bumper nine-race card on the all-weather on Tuesday, with the action starting at 16:30 and ending with the 20:30.
Among our fancies is an appropriately-named course winner that can find the target again.

16:30 - West Tyrone @ 11/8
WEST TYRONE ran well when beaten just a short-head at Newcastle last time out and Kevin Ryan’s charge looks ready to go one better in three-year-old handicap over 1m at 16:30.
The son of Zarak takes a slight drop in class this afternoon and the cheekpieces, which appeared to have a positive effect at Newcastle 24 days ago, remain on.
There are some unexposed and in-form rivals in opposition, but West Tyrone has already shown a good level of form after just four starts and there is a lot to like about his chances here.

17:30 - Aspire To Glory @ 9/2
ASPIRE TO GLORY showed improved form when stepped up to a mile to score at Wolverhampton seven days ago and Alice Haynes’ runner must have a huge chance in the Classified Stakes over the same trip at 17:30.
The four-year-old won in handicap company last time out and the 46-rated son of Cotai Glory takes a drop in grade to classified level here.
There could be further improvement to come over the new trip, but that may not even be needed given the authority that Aspire To Glory scored with at Wolverhampton.
Haynes’ runner finished second on his only previous start at Southwell, so there are no concerns over the track or surface and everything looks in place for a big run.

18:30 - Haaland @ 3/1
Three-time all-weather winner HAALAND looks a good bet to bag another success in the staying handicap at 18:30.
Jim & Suzi Best’s charge was a big eye-catcher when finishing third at Kempton two starts ago, and while the five-year-old failed to build on effort when fifth at Lingfield last time out, that contest probably wasn’t run to suit.
The son of Buratino has just his fourth start for the Best team and they are an outfit who know how to capitalise on a slipping mark.
The visor is added to Haaland for the first time and, with just three rivals in opposition, he looks a strong bet to find the target.
