Southwell Tips: Honeyball star can deliver the goods

All-weather racing from Southwell is on its way on Tuesday, with seven races on offer.
I've studied the card for the day's action and picked out three Southwell tips that I think are of value.
Southwell Tips - Tuesday, November 26
12:35 - Smurfette @ 7/2
Tom Ellis' SMURFETTE is in action in the opening race of the day and this will be the six-year-old mare's debut over three miles, and I have a feeling that she can rise to the challenge.
She heads here in solid form with a victory at Warwick and a couple of place finishes at Fontwell and Stratford, with all coming in the last few months. The run at Warwick was over 2m4f and the follow up at Stratford tested her at 2m6f.
Smurfette adapted well and didn't look short of stamina here, but there is no doubting that this will be a much bigger step up for her at Southwell. She heads here in solid form and if she stays well, I think she's in with a shout.

13:05 - Jasmin De Grugy @ 11/10
JASMIN DE GRUGY heads to Southwell having won on his last three outings over the same distance but this is going to be his chase debut. He returns to action off a 27lb higher mark than when this streak began in the spring, and it will be interesting to see how he fares after months away.
In a field that doesn't boast any standouts, I think this five-year-old gelding can offer good value if he returns in the same form from earlier in the year. As a JP McManus runner, I think he is hard to overlook on this occasion.
He is a strong stayer and is patient when it comes to making his press on the leader, which could serve him well once again.
This is an Extra Place Race, with Betfred offering 4 places instead of 3 at 1/5 the odds for all each-way bets

14:10 - Lawrenny @ 10/3
Jenny Candlish's LAWRENNY returns to action for the first time since March, having won in his last appearance at Newcastle over a two-mile distance. The five-year-old gelding responded well to pressure in that race to get up late on. The ground was heavy that day so the recent poor weather brought to us by Storm Bert should aid him on his debut at Southwell.
Lawrenny demonstrated his stamina last time out, so I think he should be well-suited for this race which is only over a distance of 1m7f. This is another field that doesn't appear to be the strongest, so I think this Candlish runner could prove to be good value on Tuesday.
