Saturday Racing Tips: How do you like it, how do you like it?

Moore, Moore, Moore - top jockey Ryan is the true connection between my Saturday racing tips.
The 41-year-old is doing the steering on all three selections, including a 9/4 Nap, from Sandown.

13:30 Sandown - Watching Stars @ 9/4
The first leg of my Ryan Moore treble at Sandown on Saturday is Charlie Appleby's WATCHING STARS in the opener - a 0-90 handicap over 1m1f.
The three-year-old son of Sea The Stars was gelded over the winter following a modest juvenile campaign, returning at Newmarket in April with a fine fourth in a competitive handicap off a mark of 83.
He was then just touched off, on an unchanged mark, in an even classier affair back at HQ the following month, going down by just a neck to Jack Channon's Lightening Mann, who himself was narrowly beaten in a Class 2 off four pounds higher subsequently. The third-placed Merchant has franked the form too, winning at York on his next start.
A rise of four pounds looks fair on that evidence and this slightly shorter trip, albeit at one of the most testing tracks in the country, should really suit.
Under in my opinion the greatest jockey in the business, he looks set for a very bold bid. Nap material, this one.

14:05 Sandown - Classic @ 7/2
Just over half an hour later, Ryan rides CLASSIC for Richard Hannon in a 0-100 event over a mile.
The Dubawi gelding hasn't won in coming up to two years, since landing a handicap at the Berkshire venue off a mark of 89, but he's remained ultra-consistent since and I'm convinced his turn is near.
A few sub-par runs towards the end of last season saw his 90+ rating drop into the 80s for the first time since the aforementioned victory, and he's fared well in a couple of Class 2s at Newbury already this season off that very mark.
Further relief - a solitary pound to be precise - has been afforded by the handicapper after his eye-catching fourth last time out and with Moore in the plate, I'm hoping he's ready for another visit to the winners' enclosure.

14:40 Sandown - Star Of Mehmas @ 9/4
Finally, Richard Hughes' STAR OF MEHMAS is tipped to land the Scurry Stakes - a Listed sprint over the minimum trip for three-year-olds.
After disappointing at 1/1f on debut at Windsor last summer, the filly was unbeaten in her next three starts at two - including in this grade at Ayr in September.
She beat the reopposing Coto De Caza, off level weights. We're two pounds better off on Saturday and boast a fitness edge, so I expect that form to be confirmed.
The selection reappeared this term with a solid effort at Chelmsford last month, 'doing well in the circumstances' in the eyes of the Racing Post race reader to place third behind the 102-rated Lady With The Tramp and the reopposing Hold A Dream.
The latter is three pounds better off, but I also felt she was a little fortunate to finish ahead. She's also underwhelmed in the meantime and her trainer Clive Cox could be in better form.
I respect Henry de Bromhead's Town And Country, but Star Of Mehmas is the one to beat in my eyes.
