14:30 - Treanmor @ 13/8
The opener on the final day of Royal Ascot 2025 - the Chesham Stakes - can go to TREANMOR for Charlie Appleby and Godolphin.
After fetching a mouth-watering €2m in October last year, all eyes were on the Frankel colt on debut at Newmarket last month. Over six furlongs, he bolted up by four widening lengths.
The form doesn't amount to much, but I was particularly impressed at how professional he was on his first day at school, travelling strongly and putting the race to bet with consummate ease. He could hardly have won any easier.
There ought to be a serious amount of improvement to come as he steps up to seven furlongs, which looks sure to suit, in Listed company. He has more scope than Aidan O'Brien's Moments Of Joy as far as I'm concerned - though the Ballydoyle maestro's record in the juvenile races so far this week is respected.
Humidity is another fairly exciting prospect for Andrew Balding, but Treanmor looks like he could be a class above.

15:05 - Palladium each-way @ 14/1
John & Thady Gosden are going great guns at Royal Ascot, so a chance is taken on PALLADIUM each-way in a tricky renewal of the Hardwicke Stakes.
The four-year-old Gleneagles colt filled many a column inch after Lady Bamford purchased the German Derby winner for €1.4m, sending him into training with Nicky Henderson's for a potential tilt at the Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.
That didn't go to script and he's since joined the Gosdens at Clarehaven, making his debut for the yard in a Listed race at Goodwood just under a fortnight ago.
His half-a-length defeat to the 117-rated Hamish and stablemate Military Academy (110) is smart, especially when you consider John Gosden's comments from earlier in the year that he's been taking it slow at home, working backwards from the Hardwicke.
There ought to be lots of improvement to come from this lightly-raced individual, who has the outstanding Ryan Moore taking over in the saddle, and he could make his presence felt.

15:40 - Elite Status each-way @ 16/1
For the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes, I'm making use of Betfred paying 4 places and backing ELITE STATUS each-way.

Selected race(s). Applies to Each Way, Single & Multiple bets only. Antepost bets don’t apply. Min. runner rules apply. T&Cs Apply.
Karl Burke's four-year-old has an inconsistent profile, but I think the answer is simple - he's a better horse in the spring/summer than in the autumn. His form in the months of May-July reads 1131114, while it's 7880 from August-October.
The son of Havana Grey's triumph in the G3 Hackwood Stakes at Newbury 11 months ago is Group 1 form in all but name. The beaten horses Lake Forest, Kind Of Blue, Regional and Twilight Calls are, or have been, competitive at the highest level.
Burke's on record saying he needed the run "badly" in the Duke Of York Clipper Stakes last time out, when just over four lengths behind the reopposing Inisherin (4/1) in fourth, and that he did a particularly good piece of work last week.
With improvement expected, he can outrun his odds and then some.

16:20 - Saracen @ 7/1
The unexposed SARACEN looks generously-priced for the Jersey Stakes.
Joseph O'Brien's three-year-old son of Siyouni won a modest maiden over six furlongs at the Curragh in October last year by four widening lengths, before returning this April with an excellent third in the G3 Greenham Stakes over seven at Newbury.
The Al Shaqab Racing-owned colt was three-and-a-half lengths off subsequent French 2000 Guineas runner-up Jonquil, rated 115, and just a couple adrift of Rashabar (113) who's finished fourth to the outstanding Field Of Gold in two starts in Group 1s since.
That's a high standard to run to second time out, and the Jersey has reportedly been his target all year, so I wouldn't let the 70-day layoff concern you whatsoever.
He's open to any amount of improvement and only has seven pounds to find on the highest-rated Comanche Brave. That's entirely possible in my view.

17:00 - More Thunder @ 4/1
It's been a fruitful Royal Ascot for favourite backers in the handicaps, and I suspect they're set for more joy in the Wokingham Stakes on Saturday.
William Haggas and Saeed Suhail - connections of Buckingham Palace hero Never So Brave - team up again with MORE THUNDER, who can defy a six-pound rise to land a hat-trick on the big stage.
The four-year-old Night Of Thunder colt joined Haggas' Newmarket base after former handler Sir Michael Stoute's retirement late last year, having earned a mark of 87 after five starts over 1m2f.
It was therefore unusual that Haggas dropped him back to six furlongs on yard debut at Newmarket in April, but it proved a wise decision as More Thunder looked at home over the trip, beating his 12 rivals quite cosily in the end.
A month later, he returned to HQ and obliged again off five pounds higher, beating the same rival (Richard Hannon's reopposing Aramram) despite worse terms.
A further rise of six mightn't stop him yet, for he was worth more than the official margin that day. Every chance.

17:35 - Seraph Gabriel @ 11/4
I think SERAPH GABRIEL will take a bit of beating in the Golden Gates Stakes. Nap material.
Ralph Beckett's three-year-old son of Saxon Warrior caught the eye in defeat on handicap debut in the Esher Cup at Sandown back in April, finishing within a length of John & Thady Gosden's Fifth Column, who was seventh from a poor draw in the Britannia Stakes on Thursday.
Dividend, who was six lengths adrift of the selection in Surrey, was fourth in the same race, while the third-placed The Lost King was 12th. Adding further depth to the form is the fifth-placed Tilted Kilt, runner-up in the Betfred Silver Bowl Handicap at Haydock last month.
On that evidence, a rise of just four pounds for this progressive individual, who was extremely unlucky not to win at Sandown after being squeezed out soon after the start and forced to race out the back, is on the lenient side.
He's bred to get this 1m2f trip, which could bring about even more improvement, and I'll be very disappointed if he's not at the very least involved in the finish.

18:10 - Samui @ 5/1
Finally, we've got the Queen Alexandra Stakes, the longest race (2m5½f) of the British flat season.
Willie Mullins' Sober is a warm order at time of publication, but he's penalised and hasn't run on the level for 309 days. I'm happy to let him win at the prices.
A chance is taken on SAMUI instead, for rival National Hunt trainer Gordon Elliott.
The six-year-old was a brilliant third behind the well-handicapped French Master in the Copper Horse Stakes on Tuesday and if able to back up such a performance just four days later, he ought to go very close here.
