Jagwar @ 4/1
JP McManus' progressive six-year-old has been entered for the Plate rather than the Novices' Chase earlier in the day.
He's won three times from four over fences but this is a big step up in class and he might have been pushed a little too soon.
Thecompanysergeant @ 15/2
Another with an impressive resume of consistency, Gavin Cromwell will have high hopes for this one, having again preferred this race to the Novices' Chase.
Cromwell has highlighted this horse as one of his handicap horses with a good chance of converting.
Jordans @ 8/1
Joseph O'Brien's Jordans was a Grade 3 Punchestown winner in October and comes to Cheltenham having finishing second behind Impaire Et Passe in the Grade 1 Novice Chase at Limerick over Christmas.
He has been penalised by the handicapper and it remains to be seen if he can improve further still.
Ginny's Destiny @ 9/1
Frontrunners tend to do well in this race and that certainly applies to Ginny's Destiny.
This horse is likely to be one of Paul Nicholl's best chances this week, especially if he can regain last season's form, where he won here three times, before finishing second behind Grey Dawning in the Turner's Novices Chase.
Masaccio @ 9/1
This eight-year-old will be wearing cheekpieces for the first time here having taken well to chasing this season. He was victorious at Newbury (2m 4f) on comeback and also ran in graded races at that same venue, before running third behind Jagwar on Trials Day in January.
Gemirande @ 11/1
Gemirande loves it at Cheltenham, having won the December Gold Cup here in 2024.
Venetia Williams nine-year-old finished fifth here last season in the Grand Annual Chase but should relish the quicker ground and is terrific over the fences.
