Paul Nicholls Cheltenham Runners: Freddie couldn’t pull her up!

It wouldn't be Cheltenham if we didn't hear from Paul Nicholls, now would it? The Ditcheat maestro might not have a Master Minded, a Denman or Kauto Star to go to war with right now but he was happy to outline where some of his leading fancies stand ahead of that little upcoming gathering in the Cotswolds.

Paul focused mainly on Thursday's Mares Novices Hurdle, and the TrustATrader Plate. Could be quite the afternoon if the four darts he's firing at these two targets run to their best, and the betting does suggest that they've got rock-solid each-way shouts at the very least.
Want to hear about the inmate who could hardly be steadied after bolting in by 25l? Or what Paul thinks when comparing the relative merits of those talented novices Jubilee Alpha and Just A Rose?
It's all here, with a little intro from Rupert Bell paying due homage to especially Kauto Star, such a talented, versatile and successful champion for the Somerset yard.
These might not be vintage P Nicholls times right now, but talk about a man and an outfit who knows what it takes to have a winner on this grandest of stages? He has few peers in that regard.
