Newcastle Tips: Welcome to another episode of Dynasty

Newcastle, Tuesday afternoon, Oct 31st - and a NINE-race card on the Tapeta all-weather surface.
Racing takes place between 16.10 and 20.15.
Good field sizes, and competitive, exciting racing is assured.
18.45 - Copper Mountain @ 4/1
A 4-yr-old filly by Derby winner Sir Percy, and trained in Yorkshire by Michael and David Easterby. The excellent Joanna Mason is in the saddle, and this is a vastly-experienced, consistent runner who last time out very nearly took a similar contest here.
She's won off as high a mark as 59 in the past, and races off 50 on Tuesday. She's been nudged up a couple of pounds for that last splendid run, but better to be in form and slightly burdened than way out of 'nick' and hoping for a miraculous upturn.
We're paying 4 places each-way, so if that floats your boat I wouldn't put anyone off taking out that little bit of insurance.
19.45 - Bella Kopella @ 6/1
Another famous northern racing family represented here - courtesy of trainer Nigel Tinkler. Rowan Scott rides the 3-yr-old filly for this 6f sprint and last time in this grade she lost out by less than 2l, finishing well. The handicapper has obligingly dropped her 2lbs to a mark of 62, and if Rowan can get away on terms must have an extremely bright chance of adding to her 3 career successes to date.
Once again we're paying 4 places each-way, so that's certainly something to consider, especially at the expected price.
Nine-race card? Absolutely brilliant, especially when the weather's more than a bit tricky and postponements on the turf are happening far more often than we'd all like. Enjoy!
