Yesterday's Nap Of The Day advice, Kissininthebackrow, won at Ffos Las at an SP of 6/1. Unforeseen difficulties behind the scenes unfortunately affected the site yesterday for which we can only profusely apologise, especially if you were trying to get on at some point.

For Thursday's Nap, I'm looking no further than Oisin Murphy, frankly. He's red-hot right now and heads to an evening fixture at iconic Epsom, featuring races sponsored by Betfred. It's there I'm headed then, as we bid to follow up that thrilling, last-strides success for the brilliant Hollie Doyle last night.

Nap Of The Day Thursday

  • 20.05 Epsom - Miss Information @ 15/8

20.05 Epsom - Miss Information @ 15/8

Oisin rides for main patron Andrew Balding. A 7f  Betfred "Bet Builder" Handicap (Class 4), for 3-year-olds and upwards.

My selection MISS INFORMATION is a three-year-old Blue Point filly who handsomely took a Chepstow apprentice handicap 6 days ago by over 3l. Given the nature of that race she runs off exactly the same mark, 76, tonight.

That too was a Class 4 heat and represented a career-best effort, at tonight's distance, and with some juice in the ground (good-to-soft is forecast for tonight, too).

It's hard to keep up with Murphy's successes right now but he's operating at around 27% in terms of strike-rate over the last fortnight, and he popped in three winners at Bath last night.

He's riding with bags of confidence and for me is at the very peak of his powers. Miss Information has won two so far for connections from nine career starts, and this doesn't to me look like the hottest Class 4 handicap run this week.

Balding is operating at a 26% strike-rate himself and the stars look to be aligning nicely for this one to me. The price won't in all likelihood be as spectacular as last night's winner, but if anything like the current 15/8 remains available I'll see that as perfectly acceptable.

Fingers crossed for a big run from a filly, jockey and trainer combo in the rudest of health.
