It's a bumper Sunday of racing across Britain and Ireland with four meetings to enjoy on a busy afternoon. The Irish Guineas Festival concludes with day three at the Curragh, while in Britain it is jumps racing all the way at Fontwell, Uttoxeter and Kelso.

Sunday's NAP is already a four-time winner at the top level and looks to launch another season in winning fashion for trainer Donnacha O'Brien at the Curragh.

Donnacha O'Brien will be relishing seeing his stable star PORTA FORTUNA get back to action in the Group 2 Lanwades Stud Stakes for fillies' and mares' at the Curragh on day three of the Irish Guineas Festival.

The Caravaggio filly won the Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket as a two-year-old and took home a silver medal from the Breeders' Cup as a juvenile.

She was inched out by Elmalka in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket on her seasonal comeback last time, but would go on to prove her credentials as a top-level miler by winning the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot, the Falmouth at Newmarket and Matron at Leopardstown – all Group 1 contests.

America was the final port of call once more in 2024 and, this time, things didn't really go her way from the get-go as she ran down the field after getting bumped early on in the Breeders' Cup Mile.

It was, nonetheless, a hugely pleasing three-year-old season and her overall record now shows seven wins and four placed efforts from a dozen starts, with only two finishes outside of the top two.

She proved her ability to go well when fresh in that Guineas defeat at Newmarket last season and while she concedes a 3lb penalty in this Group 2 contest, she is at least 10lb clear of her nearest rival on paper and Ryan Moore's partner should have few problems in getting her season up and running in winning style.

The Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot next month and a possible tussle with the principles from the Lockinge at Newbury could be next but, for now, Porta Fortuna can notch a first Group-race win at the home of Irish Flat racing.
