There is lots of racing action on Easter Sunday, with a super six-pack of meetings scheduled across Britain and Ireland.

They include major jumps cards from Plumpton and Fairyhouse alongside Market Rasen and Cork, while they race on the Flat at Bath and Southwell (AW). Below is my Nap of the Day for Sunday, April 20.

Willie Mullins has a four-strong assault on the Sussex Champion Hurdle, with nearly £40k for the winner as he closes in on retaining his champion trainer crown in Britain.

Earlier, Gary & Josh Moore are fancied to get on the scoresheet with former course and distance winner Havaila following a decent run at Newbury last time.

15:30 Plumpton Odds

All eyes will be focused on the Sussex Champion Hurdle at 16:05 as Willie Mullins saddles Daddy Long Legs, Absurde, Sir Gerhard and Tounsivator in his quest to pick up some vital prize money in the trainers' title race.

The Closutton powerhouse has acquired the services of Nico de Boinville, Harry Cobden, Jonjo O'Neill Jr and Sam Twiston-Davies respectively to partner his quartet of runners, while title rival Dan Skelton and his brother Harry will try to hold back the tide with Knickerbockerglory alongside She's A Saint, in the hands of Triston Durrell. It's a fascinating contest, but perhaps one for watching.

Earlier, the Moore team and Twiston-Davies can get on the scoresheet with HAVAILA in the three-and-a-quarter-mile Class 3 handicap chase.

The six-year-old was third over 2m3½f on his chasing debut in December and opened his account at the third time of asking at Lingfield (2m7½f, heavy) in late January.

He ran well again there next time and then doubled his tally with a 21-length win over C&D (good) last month.

He was sporting a first-time hood that afternoon, and while he beat only two rivals, he couldn't have done it in more straightforward fashion.

Next time at Newbury (2m7½f, good to soft) he finished second under a 6lb penalty in a decent novices' event, unable to reel in the front-running winner Leave Of Absence, but running well in the circumstances given how the race panned out.

He's only 1lb higher off his revised mark back at a track and trip confirmed to suit and conditions underfoot won't be a concern, however, they appear on the day. He's unexposed at this staying trip and represents a yard in good form in recent weeks while he carries just 10st 13lb here.

This is just Twiston-Davies' second ever ride for this yard, and he looks to have been found an excellent opportunity to get on the scoresheet, taking on five rivals with far from convincing form figures.
