There are four meetings across the UK and Ireland on Sunday, with Haydock's Sunday Series card enjoying full live terrestrial coverage on ITV Racing.

The 10-race offering also includes three live races from Leicester, while further action on Sunday is at Wolverhampton on the all-weather and from Downpatrick over jumps. My Sunday NAP runs at Haydock and is bidding to record a hat-trick of wins on turf for trainer Seb Spencer.

The Sunday Series action from Haydock is typically competitive stuff and their Class 4 Fillies' Handicap over 7f looks a good opening for in-form three-year-old LORNA B.

The Shaman filly ran as the market suggested on her sole 2YO start at Doncaster (7f, soft) back in October but has improved markedly this year.

She won a Newcastle maiden over 6f at odds of 28/1 in March on her comeback and can easily be forgiven her effort over this trip at Gosforth Park in May as she was coming with a challenge to hit the front inside the final furlong when the leader lugged across and almost sent her through the running rail, costing her any chance as rider Dale Swift allowed her coast home having lost their position.

Two turf wins have followed at Thirsk and Carlisle since, both over 6f. She had lots in hand in the first of those, but had to knuckle down more for the second and showed a good attitude in doing so.

A return to this faster surface promises to suit now and this race was earmarked by trainer Spencer as he is keen to try her over the 7f trip again. She was showing plenty of appetite for it at Newcastle before that interference cost her so dearly.

Her trainer is very much of the opinion that the now 81-rated filly is still learning and, clearly, feels there is more in her locker.

"She impressed me because the penny's not completely dropped yet. Dale said she didn't really know what she was doing, but she still did enough," he opined after her win at Carlisle four weeks ago.

The lightly-raced pair Bint Mohaather for Jack Channon and Definitive for Clive Cox are a couple of rivals worth noting now for sure but there is a belief that Spencer could be spot on in his assessment of Lorna B.
