NAP of the Day: All you need is Radio Goo Goo

On a busy Saturday, we go to the world's oldest operational racecourse for the NAP of the Day - something of a course specialist who can extend her excellent record at the venue.
NAP of the Day - Saturday, September 21
- 16:15 Chester - Radio Goo Goo @ 4/1
Chester is one of the sharpest tracks in the country and it possesses a quite dramatic draw bias, especially over sprint trips.
For those reasons, many consider it a bit of a graveyard for punters. I disagree. Its suitability for low-drawn runners who like to race prominently - and the importance of course form - can be used to your advantage.
For example, David Evans' RADIO GOO GOO, who goes in the five-furlong handicap there on Saturday, is a regular front-runner set to emerge from stall two on her fifth visit to the venue.
The four-year-old Havana Grey filly is very useful on the Roodee. Her form reads 1191, with that one defeat easy to excuse due to soft ground and a wide draw (10).
She's also dropped to her last winning mark of 87, following a respectable effort off a pound higher and over six furlongs at Kempton earlier this month.
If she gets a good break, she's almost certain to be sent to the front by John Egan and try to stay there, as she's done successfully three times before.
The selection's main competitor, at least according to the 16:15 Chester Odds, is Roman Dragon for Hugo Palmer.
He and Richard Fahey's Vintage Clarets both boast strong course form and are feared, but I'm trusting Radio Goo Goo to make it four wins from five visits to Chester.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
