Another exciting racing week gets up and running on Monday with five meetings across the UK and Ireland scheduled to take place.

It's a feast of Flat racing, with turf cards at Redcar and Carlisle in the afternoon before Windsor and Roscommon later, while they stage evening all-weather action at Wolverhampton.

Monday's NAP contests a maiden at Lingfield despite having passed the post in front on his second start a fortnight ago and he's got Windsor specialist Tom Marquand to keep him in check this time.

Tom Marquand is the go-to man for Windsor success. The jockey has ridden 62 winners at the picturesque Berkshire layout across the last five seasons, boasting a 19 per cent strike-rate from well over 300 rides.

Furthermore, it has proved incredibly profitable to follow Marquand blind at Windsor, given his extremely impressive +95.86 profit to a level stake in that same timeframe.

He has a good book of rides on Monday evening once more and teams up with in-form trainer Dominic Ffrench-Davis’ AHEAD OF FASHION in the Juddmonte EBF Restricted Maiden Stakes over 6f, the second race on the card.

The already gelded son of Dream Ahead represents the Lambourn trainer and will be bidding to atone for an unfortunate trip to Kempton a fortnight ago.

Having debuted in the Class 2 Brocklesby Stakes at Doncaster during the Lincoln meeting over 5f, where he shaped with some promise over 5f despite a midfield finish, Ahead Of Fashion went to the Polytrack at Kempton this month and ran a big race as he duelled late on with Richard Hannon's odds-on favourite Private Affair, who had already gone close in a maiden at Newbury on debut last month.

Ahead Of Fashion and Billy Loughnane made all in that contest, but they were errant in the finish, lurching left across the track under pressure and it was enough for the stewards to turn the placings around and hand the race to Private Affair.

They were four lengths clear of the remainder and conditions at Kempton might have had some impact, with the wind perhaps buffeting and increasing the waywardness of the first past the post.

Hannon believes the winner to be smart colt in the making and, if Marquand can elicit a more professional effort from Ahead Of Fashion, he should give a nod to that form and belatedly get his maiden win on the board.
