Nap of the Day: Henderson filly to bloom at Southwell

We look to the action at Southwell on Monday for the Nap of the Day, with a Nicky Henderson-trained filly boasting untapped potential taken to do the business.
Nap of the Day - Monday, December 16
- 14:22 Southwell - Crazierthandaisy @ 4/5
Watching her last season, it wasn't hard to understand how Kenny Alexander decided on the name CRAZIERTHANDAISY for his five-year-old Walk In The Park mare trained by Nicky Henderson at Seven Barrows.
She went to Huntingdon at the start of the calendar year for a mares' bumper and let punters down having been backed into 11/10f. Greenness and inexperience ultimately cost her, in my view at least, as she finish third of 12, beaten just under a length.
I think she threw the race away in Cambridgeshire. She travelled all over her 11 rivals throughout and hit the front at around the two-furlong pole, before running into a bit of trouble and appearing a bit of a nuisance under James Bowen.
She looked a bit more straightforward at Plumpton exactly 80 days later, as she got off the mark beating modest rivals somewhat snugly, but she was still raw when asked a question and clearly had plenty to learn still.
To my eye, she's matured a lot over the summer, for I had no issue with her behaviour when second to a runaway winner at Uttoxeter on hurdling debut just over three weeks back.
I felt she needed to be ridden significantly closer to the pace in order to have a chance at winning, but nothing she did concerned me. She was pretty straightforward, in fact, jumping and travelling well throughout. We didn't get to push come to shove, unfortunately.
She will surely be a lot closer to the pace in this mares' maiden over an extended 2m4f - a trip that ought to be well within her compass going off her breeding - and that should see her to better effect.
This looks an easier assignment. Although she got a freebie on front, her conqueror the last day could well be a nice type, whereas her opposition here don't look up to much as far as I'm concerned.
Given Henderson suggested Crazierthandaisy could be one for the Mares' Novices' Hurdle in a stable tour with AtTheRaces earlier in the season, I'll be very disappointed if she's beaten her with a run under her belt.
I think this one could go off a good bit shorter than the advised price.
