There is a six-race card from Market Rasen on Wednesday afternoon with the highlight of the jumps card a Class 3 handicap chase at 15.15.

Issar d'Airy should be well suited by the conditions in the feature race and Gary & Josh Moore’s charge looks capable of leaving Lincolnshire with success.

14:45 - Je Viens Du Large @ 9/2

Je Viens Du Large is yet to deliver under rules, but the former point winner was clearly well thought of when sent off at 15/8 for a maiden hurdle at Uttoxeter on debut of Stuart Edmunds, and the trainer has chucked the kitchen sink at the six-year-old in the two-and-a-half-mile handicap hurdle at 14:45.

The gelding has his first start after a wind op and a tongue-tie has also been added for the first time.

That looks like a wise move for a horse who has often failed to find as much off the bridle as looked likely. A flat, speed-orientated track such as Market Rasen should also allow the strong-travelling six-year-old to find a nice rhythm.

Je Viens Du Large really should prove better than a mark of 92 and everything is in place for the six-year-old to deliver on Wednesday afternoon.

15:15 - Issar d'Airy @ 2/1

Only four runners go to post in the feature 0-130 handicap chase at 15:15 and Issar d'Airy can boss his three rivals.

Gary & Josh Moore’s charge looked well suited when returned to a sound surface at Sandown 18 days ago and that rates a good effort.

The seven-year-old finished second behind Classic Anthem, but Issar d'Airy was given that progressive rival lumps of weight and Moore’s runner pulled miles clear of the third horse at the Surrey track.

Conditions on Wednesday afternoon look ideal, with drying weather forecast on already good ground and the opposition doesn’t look all that strong.

Ryan's Rocket has been off the track since fading badly at Cheltenham in January, Ostend has bags to find and Stormin Crossgales has pulled up on his last two starts.

15:50 - D Day Arvalenreeva @ 9/1

D Day Arvalenreeva caught the eye when finishing a strong-travelling fourth to the now 121-rated Surrey Belle on hurdle debut at Uttoxeter and that run didn’t escape the attention of punters.

Next time out Kevin Philippart De Foy’s charge was backed from 18/1 to 9/1 on the show when putting up a respectable effort to finish third behind the 130-rated Miss Altea Blue at Wincanton 20 days ago.

The five-year-old looked a live threat turning for home in that contest and the switch to Market Rasen appears to be a shrewd move.

D Day Arvalenreeva runs off a rating of 97 on Wednesday afternoon and there has to be a strong chance of a good run with improvement likely on only her third start over hurdles.
