Ludlow Tips: It’s Tommy time on Wednesday

Ludlow provides one of three Jumps cards on Wednesday, with six races running between 14:38 and 17:15.
I've had a good look through the card and provided three Ludlow tips to consider - including a couple of Tommys to keep an eye on.

15:08 - Kitesurfer @ 6/1
A poor showing when last seen at Huntingdon in October is a slight concern but the Handicap Hurdle at 15:08 looks a good chance for KITESURFER to respond in his first outing since.
He obviously wasn't firing on all cylinders in Cambridgeshire and it might be better to judge him on the form of his Worcester victory last August.
That win came over 2m7f, meaning Wednesday's 3m trip is unlikely to trouble the six-year-old.
Jamie Snowden's string are in decent nick with an 18% strike-rate from the last fortnight, while rider Joe Anderson was a recent winner of a similar contest at Newton Abbot.

15:38 - Tommy's Charm @ 2/1
Three-miles-and-a-furlong proved just too far for TOMMY'S CHARM when a close second at Wincanton in January, but Kerry Lee's inmate returns here over 3m with a chance for a second career victory in this Handicap Chase.
The seven-year-old led three out but faded in that last run and on that evidence, dropping back slightly may prove perfect and jockey Richard Patrick's booking is another plus, considering he was on board for his previous victory at Chepstow.
Ultra Beat shed his maiden tag at Southwell last month and could go well again having only been pushed up 3lb for that success, while there is also interest in chasing debutant Planet Legend.
Tommy's Charm gets the nod, though, with Snowden sure to have done his research before placing his gelding here after three months out.

16:40 - Captain Tommy @ 9/4
It wasn't to be when CAPTAIN TOMMY chased a hat-trick at Kempton on the opening day of the month but his strong record at Ludlow gives him a chance to bounce back in Wednesday's penultimate contest, an Open Hunters' Chase at 16:40.
The 11-year-old has three previous wins at the venue, including on his last visit in March when he came home first of six over a slightly inadequate 2m4f.
He was second at Kempton but was 34 lengths behind Viroplay over 2m4½f so returning to 3m could be shrewd based on his victory over a furlong further at Catterick on March 5.
A change of rider to Henry Crow could also add fresh impetus, while trainer Fred Timmis is clearly competent in getting his charge ready for trips down the A49 from his Malpas base.
Haven't Time looked good in finishing second at Taunton but was then pulled up at the Cheltenham Festival and, when assessing the field, Captain Tommy looks too good to turn down.
