Lucky 15 Tips: Keane jets in to ride promising Juddmonte novice

Greetings. Back after a little break that included taking in York's Dante meeting, which though not quite blessed with the prevailing magnificent sunshine was a delight, as with all trips to the fabled Knavesmire.
Nice little seven-race party at Leicester on Tuesday with some of the game's biggest names in the saddle in attendance, so that will do just beautifully for Tuesday's Lucky 15 tips. I hope you're all in great nick, so without further ado etc; and the action kicks in at 14:10. Enjoy!
Lucky 15 tips - Tuesday, 26 May 2026
Leicester
*Odds correct as of the time of publication
14:10 - Victory Gold @ 5/4
Saeed Bin Suroor saddles this two-year-old Godolphin colt, and after a very promising second-place finish in a decent Ascot novice at this 6f trip looks to me at least like a proverbial winner waiting to happen.
Victory Gold is sure to have come on for that debut spin 17 days ago, and crucially his jockey on the day, the mighty champion Oisin Murphy, retains the partnership this afternoon.
He looks to have the unraced filly Libertango to beat, but despite her receiving the 5lb fairer sex allowance racecourse experience can prove conclusive for our selection, fingers crossed.
His conqueror in Berkshire, Night In Vegas, has gone in again at Goodwood and I'll be very disappointed if we don't kick off Tuesday's bet with a winner. NAP on the card for me, make all, job done.
15:10 - Crownright @ 9/4
Juddmonte's retained jockey Colin Keane is in the plate, aboard this three-year-old twice-raced daughter of Frankel - Crownright.
Satisfactory Kempton all-weather maiden introduction in November (one mile, third of 13 beaten 4.25l), and reappeared 25 days ago at Ascot at the same trip (as today), finishing a 2l second to a filly who has subsequently run 1.5l second at York in a Listed heat, worth £40k to the winner.
Dare I say it, but the winner-waiting-to-happen handle applies equally to this filly in what's undoubtedly a very warm novice for the track. She's getting 5lb and 7lb from some key rivals who are paying for having been successful already, and that can only be to her advantage.
15:40 - Hatamoto @ 9/4
From all that latent promise we head south quality-wise for a humble Class 6 handicap for three-year-olds, over 7f.
Hatamoto is a gelded son of a Group-class 6f and 7f horse, Tasleet, who was in the care of William Haggas around a decade ago. He's had four runs for trainer Tim Easterby, the last of which was the best - a 1.5l second of 10 at Carlisle eight days ago, over a mile.
He pops down a furlong but this is a stiff track and I'm hoping it won't have a detrimental effect upon his chances. Harry Russell rides, for the first time, and he's surrounded here by some very big fish in the saddle indeed - Murphy, Keane, Loughnane, Shoemark and Mitchell among them.
Very interesting heat, and the draw (2) looks handy.
16:40 - Polka Blue @ 6/1
Three-year-old fillies go 6f in a Class 5 handicap, and our selection is housed with in-form Lambourn handler Charlie Hills.
Polka Blue is a daughter of Space Blues and remains a maiden after six starts. She's very consistent though, and has been bang on the premises in five of those contests. The handicapper has progressively dropped her from a mark of 72 three runs ago to today's 68, and jockey Jason Watson knows her well.
At time of writing she offers a nice bit of value in an open-looking affair.
If all four of our selections won, today's notional 50p win Lucky 15, at the prices indicated (they can of course fluctuate), would return around £234 for a £7.50 total stake. If you can improve upon our selections (of course you can) - then go for it!
