Lucky 15 Tips: Lord’s dominance at Newcastle to continue on Tuesday

There are six race meetings taking place across the UK and Ireland on Tuesday, giving me plenty of options for my Lucky 15 column. For my four picks, I have gone for the flat action at Nottingham, Lingfield and Newcastle.
Check out my Lucky 15 Tips for Tuesday 19 May below.

14:20 Nottingham - Runman @ 6/5
My Lucky 15 starts with the favourite in the 14:20 at Nottingham, which is over a distance of 1m½f. RUNMAN, for John & Thady Gosden's yard, is looking to continue his unbeaten start to his career, having claimed victories at Salisbury and most recently Epsom.
That latest success was completed over Tuesday's distance on April 28. Experienced jockey Oisin Murphy is back in the saddle, having steered the three-year-old colt in both appearances to date.
15:10 Lingfield - Man Is King @ 11/4
MAN IS KING is in the best form of his career as he gears up for the 15:10 at Lingfield. The seven-year-old gelding has enjoyed back-to-back successes at Bath, one of which was over 1m with the other being 1m2f.
For the first time since October 2024, the son of Dandy Man is competing over 7½f. His record over these distances don't make for impressive reading but he is in the best shape of his career, and has a lot more experience since last contesting this trip at Roscommon.
Trainer David Flood and connections should be feeling good about his chances to complete a maiden career hat-trick on Tuesday.
16:55 Nottingham - Irish Dancer @ 9/2
IRISH DANCER is seeking his first win at Nottingham on Tuesday. He contests the 5f trip in the 16:55. All five of his career triumphs have come over this distance, including his last outing at Catterick on 11 May.
There is a change in the saddle as Harry Smith replaces Zak Wheatley, who was on board at Catterick. However, Smith steered the six-year-old gelding to consecutive victories at Thirsk and Southwell between July and August last year.
I see this as another tick in Irish Dancer's column.
17:35 Newcastle - Lord Capulet @ SP
Newcastle is where I round off my tips for the day, and it comes from the final race on the card. LORD CAPULET is who I am backing in this contest over 7f because he has won five of his last seven outings, four of which have come over C&D.
The latest came on 20 April as the four-year-old gelding defeated The Green Man by half a length.
Jack Nicholls, who rode the son of Make Believe to victory at Redcar last time out, is booked for this ride and I think this duo can combine for more success on Tuesday.
