Lucky 15 Tips: Rock N Roll can star at Nottingham

With the National Hunt season coming to an end on Saturday, flat racing takes centre stage and there are three meetings to look forward to across Britain.
Our expert has picked out four strong selections to form his Lucky 15 tips for the afternoon.

14:30 Wetherby - Princling @ 4/7
William Haggas has struggled for winners over the last couple of weeks, but plenty of his runners have run well. PRINCLING looks well set to get off the mark here and he showed plenty in two starts last season, managing to finish second on both occasions.
He was a nose away from getting off the mark on debut at Kempton in October and the winner was a Charlie Appleby-trained favourite. The son of Kingman was unfortunate to bump into the very promising Yazin next time and he should be winning sooner or later.
16:25 Nottingham - Layla Liz @ 4/1
The in-form Archie Watson runs LAYLA LIZ and she remains potentially unexposed in handicap company, having only had two previous starts in this sphere, and she has never finished outside of the first two in five career runs to date.
Heavy ground was no problem for her when winning at Leicester on debut and she was narrowly denied under a penalty after that. Returning to winning ways over 5f next time, she absolutely bolted up and clearly possesses plenty of pace.
She produced an excellent performance to win a handicap on her seasonal debut last month, as she had been off the track for over 400 days and is therefore entitled to improve.
16:55 Nottingham - See The Fire @ 3/10
There’s only one winner of this race based on form and it’s the Andrew Balding-trained five-year-old SEE THE FIRE. She was second by a short neck in the Group 1 Prix de l’Opera in France on her penultimate start and should be winning this on that evidence.
See The Fire absolutely bolted up in the Group 2 Middleton Stakes at York back in May and that form is easily the best on offer here. None of her rivals are rated within a stone of her and as such, the daughter of Sea The Stars will need to flop badly in order to lose.
17:25 Nottingham - Rock N Roll Pinkie @ 7/2
ROCK N ROLL PINKIE runs her race at Nottingham more often than not and three of her six career victories have been achieved here. She bolted up by eight lengths over course and distance last summer, albeit off a 16lb lower mark and in a lower grade.
Second on her first start of the current season at Southwell earlier this month, the six-year-old can step forward for that run and she should be going close here if managing to do so. A return to winning ways could well be on the cards here.
If all four selections won, at the quoted prices, a 50p Lucky 15 would return around £97.
