Lucky 15 Tips: Minnie can land another Group 1 prize

We're at an exciting stage of the season on the Flat and the top-quality racing comes thick and fast. There's Group 1 action on the Flat in Ireland on Sunday and three National Hunt meetings in Britain for jumps fans to sink their teeth into. The Curragh hosts an excellent eight-race card, which includes the Irish 1000 Guineas, and the English Guineas winner will attempt to land the big double. Hopefully, there will be some Royal Ascot pointers on offer in the Tattersalls Gold Cup earlier on the card too.
Our expert has four fancies across the card and chief amongst them is a three-time Group 1 winner for Aidan O'Brien, who can book her place in next month's Prince Of Wales’s Stakes. It could be worth combining them into a Lucky 15 for Sunday afternoon.

13:45 Curragh - Sun Goddess @ 4/9
Aidan O'Brien has won this maiden twice in the last three years and there's plenty to like about the chance of SUN GODDESS here. This £120,000 purchase has a smart pedigree, being out of a sister to a Group 3 winner, and a daughter of Sioux Nation.
She was up against the boys on debut at Navan and acquitted herself well, running stablemate Carry The Flag close. Getting off to a slow start on that occasion, she kept on well and the step up to 6f is likely to suit. This is a great opportunity to get off the mark.
15:55 Curragh - Minne Hauk @ 8/13
MINNIE HAUK did manage to win at two, but she took her form to the next level when going up in trip as a three-year-old. Aidan O'Brien's four-year-old followed up her success in the Cheshire Oaks by getting the better of stablemate Whirl in the Oaks at Epsom.
She then went on to win the Irish equivalent at the Curragh and the Yorkshire Oaks, before heading to France for the Arc. The race didn't quite pan out for her and she was narrowly denied by Daryz in the end, producing a career-best, and she's the one to beat on that form.
17:05 Curragh - Summer Island @ 4/1
Natalia Lupini's SUMMER ISLAND has turned a corner this year and the four-year-old has already notched two victories. The first came over this trip at Dundalk in February and he battled on well to get the better of Beat The Devil by half-a-length off a mark of 59.
The son of Caravaggio produced an excellent performance to win impressively over 7f at the Curragh earlier this month. That three-length success has incurred a substantial 9lb rise from the handicapper but he could be worth keeping onside until his limitations are exposed.
17:40 Curragh - Lark In The Mornin @ 9/1
Joseph O'Brien is the ideal trainer for a dual-purpose performer such as LARK IN THE MORNIN, as he's a leading trainer across both codes. This horse is a Cheltenham Festival winner over hurdles and managed to come out on top in the 2024 Boodles Juvenile Hurdle.
He's had just five starts on the Flat and he was a comfortable winner at Bellewstown in July. Following up at Listowel a couple of months later, he's now on a mark of 93 and there could be more to come, now tackling handicaps in this sphere.
If all four selections won, at the quoted prices, a 50p Lucky 15 (total stake £7.50) would return around £210
