Lucky 15 Tips: New Yorker to win Listed prize at the Curragh

We were treated to some excellent racing last week and the Bank Holiday provides us with even more quality action to sink our teeth into. It’s set to be a busy day, as we have no fewer than eight meetings taking place across Britain and Ireland. Both Flat and National Hunt racing is represented and the best of the action comes from the Curragh. Their feature race is the Group 2 Mooresbridge Stakes and Aidan O’Brien’s triple Oaks winner Minnie Hauk is set to make her return.
Everyone appreciates Lucky 15 tips and we’ve got you covered on that front. Here are four of our strongest fancies across the cards, which include an Aidan O’Brien runner in a Listed contest at the Curragh who did well to win on debut, despite looking very green.

13:50 Curragh - New Yorker @ 7/4
It’s usually a good sign when a Ballydoyle juvenile wins first time out, especially at this stage of the season, so the fact that NEW YORKER managed to do so at Dundalk last month is very promising. Ryan Moore was on board that day and will take the ride once again.
This impeccably-bred son of No Nay Never is out of two-time Group 1 winner Fairyland, who won the Cheveley Park and the Flying Five Stakes for this yard.
Showing signs of greenness on debut, he still managed to kick a length-and-a-quarter clear in the closing stages and will improve for the experience.
16:38 Fakenham - Wicked Thoughts @ 9/2
Paul Nicholls’ WICKED THOUGHTS is probably close to fulfilling his maximum potential and it won’t be long before the handicapper has him in their grasp.
That being said, he has still only had four starts over fences and there’s a good chance he can win again before that happens. The seven-year-old has won twice over fences, with the first of those successes coming over 2m7f at Taunton in November.
He was therefore a little disappointing in his next couple of starts but returned to winning ways when upped to an extended 3m4f at Taunton last month. With his stamina confirmed, he should be going close, off a 3lb higher mark.
17:13 Fakenham - Nardaran @ 14/1
Paul Nicholls has a strike rate of 69% at Fakenham in the last five seasons, with nine winners from just 13 runners, and there’s a good chance NARDARAN can become winner number 10. He returned to form with a much improved effort at Wincanton last time out.
His last success came off a mark of 123 at Sandown in November and the five-year-old should be very competitive off just a 2lb higher mark. Nardaran is a French Flat recruit and good ground should be to his liking.
17:30 Kempton - Dojin @ 3/1
Kempton’s feature race is a competitive-looking fillies’ handicap over 1m4f and the Sean Woods-trained DOJIN gets the nod, as she looks thoroughly unexposed in handicap company. She has had just four starts so far and already has two wins to her name.
The daughter of Ifraaj got off the mark at the second time of asking, winning a Southwell novice by a length-and-a-quarter, and she won again on just her second handicap start. Defying a 371-day absence to win, she’s entitled to step forward from that run.
If all four selections won, at the quoted prices, a 50p Lucky 15 (total stake £7.50) would return around £974.50.
