12:20 Wetherby - My Kinda Ghaiy @ 10/3
The opener at Wetherby on Thursday looks to be a tricky test for punters with many unexposed juveniles looking to leave their mark.
However, one who catches the eye is MY KINDA GHAIY for the Olly Murphy team.
Murphy's four-year-old was an eyecatcher on debut when finishing second at Taunton last month.
That performance earned him an RPR rating of 92 and one that he can build on this afternoon.
Champion jockey Sean Bowen will take the ride, so he will be in good hands to finally score at the second time of asking.
13:20 Wetherby - Ned Tanner @ 18/1
The feature of the day and most valuable race at Wetherby is a Handicap Chase over 2m3½f.
NED TANNER looks to be an interesting runner here, having been very consistent lately with two third-place finishes in his last two runs.
He's a horse who handles cuts in the ground and will relish the conditions at Wetherby as connections opt to keep him in class 3 company once more.
Ned Tanner continues to drop down the weights and it could only be a matter of time before he finds himself back in the winner's enclosure.
13:30 Huntingdon - Call me Arthur @ 7/2
CALL ME ARTHUR represents good value in this competitive Novices' Handicap Chase at Huntingdon.
The seven-year-old is expected to improve significantly from his return to racing at Hereford last month, where he finished fourth after a 420-day absence.
The step up in trip and the soft conditions should be a favourable combination for Tom Lacey's charge, as he is set to run off his previous winning mark.
15:30 Gowran Park - Yeah Man @ 14/1
The Thyestes Handicap Chase at Gowran Park represents one of the highlights on the Irish Racing Calendar and often provides a good indication of those who may have Grand National aspirations further down the line.
Last year's winner, Nick Rockett, took this contest before going on to score the big prize at Aintree in April.
While this is a tricky race from a betting perspective, the selection goes to the Gavin Cromwell-trained YEAH MAN.
Another choice of Keith Donoghue, Yeah Man, finished fourth in this race 12 months ago off a 1lb lower mark.
He arrives at Gowran Park this afternoon in good stead having finished as the runner-up in his two previous races.
The rain has come to Ireland but that shouldn't affect Cromwell's nine-year-old, who will relish the testing conditions.
As previously mentioned, this race is a hard one to call, but if Yeah Man gets a clean run, he should be a contender come the finish line.
