Lucky 15 Tips: Outstanding ITV racing on All-Weather finals day

All-weather racing has its day in the sun on Good Friday, which means a fantastic explosion of televised contests live on ITV. Astonishingly, the channel are screening ELEVEN super-competitive, lucrative affairs; five from Lingfield, and six from Newcastle.
For Friday's Lucky 15 tips I'm heading to Geordieland, and so are the likes of Oisin Murphy, Rossa Ryan and Billy Loughnane. We're spoiled rotten - and we're so worth it.
The action kicks in at Gosforth Park at 13:15. Enjoy!

14:25 - Ziggy's Queen @ 8/1
Today's competitive fare screams 'each-way' play to me, so that's the way I'm leaning. Our fancy for the opener is certainly a nice e/w price, as I write, and represents a trainer/owner combination who are no strangers to pocketing prizes at any number of venues.
Ziggy's Queen is a five-year-old mare in the care of Richard & Peter Fahey in North Yorkshire, and runs in the familiar silks of Middleham Park Racing. She's a daughter of Invincible Spirit, a Haydock Sprint Cup winner, and out of an Exceed And Excel mare.
Bags of speed then built in to that blood line, but she showed last time at Lingfield five weeks ago that she definitely stays this far, 7f, when just getting up to prevail in a flurry of nostrils with 1.25l covering the first six home.
Could for me be relatively unexposed then at this trip having been campaigned at 5f and 6f prior to Lingers, and I'm hoping that 5lb claimer Ethan Tindall can bury her early and come with a telling late rattle.
She's up just 2lb for that last narrow success and Ethan gets along with her famously. Standard e/w terms, 1/5 odds, 3 places.
15:00 - The Lost King @ 9/2
Trainer Andrew Balding is operating at around the 28% mark in terms of winners in the last fortnight, and today's pilot Oisin Murphy is purring along at about 31%, so their four-year-old Kingman gelding The Lost King has to be given the utmost respect ahead of this decidedly warm mile handicap.
Last time out 27 days ago at Wolves our selection cosily obliged over half a furlong further and has been penalised 5lb accordingly. He tends to race prominently, which could be a blessing in a scheduled field of 14, and has a decidedly upwardly-mobile profile.
Three wins from eight career starts so far, and has been plying his trade at some of racing's more prestigious venues - Sandown, Haydock, Newmarket, and Kempton among them. Great chance, and we're paying 1/4 odds, 4 places.
15:35 - Lakers @ 7/1
Powerful ownership vehicle Amo Racing are sending a couple up north, including this four-year-old Pinatubo gelding, out of a Sea The Stars mare - Lakers.
The selection is three-from-11 all told, and warmed up for this with a half-length second at Lingers five weeks ago, running on nicely at this 6f trip. He's another with a progressive profile, and having had success at slightly further is virtually guaranteed to be finishing with a vengeance this afternoon.
Regular pilot Rowan Scott has the riding assignment, and Kevin Philippart De Foy trains, at HQ (1/5 odds, 4 places).
16:10 - Duke's Command @ 15/2
Another yard familiar with success on these bigger stages is that of David O'Meara, who trains about 90 miles south in Upper Hemsley, near York.
His runner here is Duke's Command, a five-year-old Dubawi gelding out of a Galileo mare. Three wins from 19 starts so far, and a fortnight ago at Wolves over a trip 1.5f less that this he finished well after plotting a wide course and encountering traffic problems late in the piece, too.
He was only beaten 3.5l, and it's not hard to see him being ultra-competitive off a pound less (94) today. He's very rarely too far from the principals at the finish and is another representing very decent value in my eyes (1/5 odds, 4 places).
If all four of our selections won, today's notional 25p each-way Lucky 15, at the prices indicated (they can of course fluctuate), would return around £1,400 for a £7.50 total stake. If you can improve upon our selections (of course you can) - then go for it!
