Lucky 15 Tips: We’re following Gavin on Tuesday at Leopardstown

An eight-race card at Leopardstown is our destination for Tuesday's Lucky 15 tips. The action commences at 13:55.
Mark Walsh is riding, Danny Mullins, and two of the amateur greats of all time - Patrick Mullins and Derek O'Connor. Can't wait.
Lucky 15 tips - Tuesday, March 3

*Odds correct as of the time of publication
13:55 - Le Moulin Rouge @ 5/4
The opener is a 2m 5f maiden hurdle, and we're with a thrice-raced gelding (one point, and two contests of this nature).
The Paul Nolan inmate we're describing is Le Moulin Rouge, looking very much like a winner-in-waiting on those last two spins over timber first in October, then 65 days ago when last seen on this very course, beaten just 4.25l.
The selection is likely to be a fairly warm order but its chance is surely undeniable. Regular pilot Sean Flanagan has the riding assignment.
15:25 - Pookie Holler @ 11/4
Handicap hurdlers go 3m, with our selection hoping to break his duck after four runs under rules.
Henry De Bromhead trains the six-year-old Pookie Holler, who ran a career-best when last seen 33 days ago on handicap debut. He was beaten just 3.25l at Thurles over slightly shorter, and he's been raised 4lb for that fine effort.
It was 9.5l back to the third and any repeat this afternoon must see him in with every chance. Regular partner Darragh O'Keefe is in the plate.
16:25 - Dameauscottlestown @ 3/1
A 2m 5.5f beginners' chase, and we're with the only mare in the field - claiming a handy 7lb fairer sex allowance from the boys.
Dameauscottlestown is a six-year-old daughter of Ballydoyle's multiple G1-winner Mastercraftsman. She has one hurdle success to her name after five starts and tries the larger obstacles today for the first time.
She's rated 118 over timber and began to blossom in that discipline given her last two runs were a 3l win and a narrow defeat, both in career-best territory performance-wise.
Trainer Gavin Cromwell is one of Ireland's leading lights and top jock Keith Donoghue rides her, for the first time.
17:30 - Araminta @ 7/4
The closer is a 2m mares' bumper, with some of the game's biggest guns firing.
Our selection is again trained by Gavin Cromwell at Navan in County Meath, but Willie Mullins and Gordon Elliott are among those in opposition. Araminta is a five-year-old daughter of a French G1 winner at around a mile on the level.
Two runs so far - a fine Fairyhouse debut, beaten 3l in a field of 17; then here, 30 days ago, when fourth beaten 3.25l in a hot G2 worth around €59k to the winner.
These are far calmer waters, and she must have a brilliant chance. The excellent Declan Lavery has the leg up, and his amateur rivals include the aforementioned Mullins and O'Connor, plus the likes of Jody Townend and Harry Swan. Serious talents.
If all four of our selections won, today's notional 50p win Lucky 15, at the prices indicated (they can of course fluctuate), would return around £144 for a £7.50 total stake. If you can improve upon our selections (of course you can) - then go for it!
