Kempton Park Racecourse

It's a reduced midweek racing programme on Wednesday with Fontwell claimed by the weather but we've still picked out our Wednesday Lucky 15 Tips, with two apiece from the pair of UK meetings taking place.

That leaves afternoon jumps fare from Catterick (14:15-16:45) as the lone card before a mammoth nine-race offering in the evening from Kempton (16:24-20:30).

At the time of writing a 50p each-way Lucky 15 bet (total stake £15) would pay out £275.47...

Wednesday Lucky 15 Tips:

  • Catterick 14:45 – Kings Justice @ 7/2
  • Catterick 15:45 – Haston Clermont @ 6/5
  • Kempton 19:00 – Beauen Arrows @ 7/1
  • Kempton 20:00 - Rogue Dream @ 6/5

Catterick 14:45 – Kings Justice @ 4/1

A Novices' Handicap Chase over 2m3f in which KINGS JUSTICE can enhance a good record over C&D this season for trainer Sam Allwood.

He made little impact in eight hurdles starts and, following a wind op, was pulled up on his chasing bow at Southwell over 2m in October after a break.

He has run three times over this C&D since, with a win and two seconds, beating all bar two of the 28 rivals he has faced.

He wasn't really done any favours last month when left clear at two out, leaving him a sitting target as Onenightintown came and took a shot at him late on to win.

Both the winner and third (scored next time) have ensured that form looks solid in the context of this race and from just 1lb higher with a first-time tongue-tie applied, this improving six-year-old is fancied.

Catterick 15:45 – Haston Clermont @ 6/5

The hat-trick bid went down narrowly for HASTON CLERMONT at Chepstow five weeks ago but Noel Williams' charge can get back to winning ways here.

His wins at Lingfield and Wincanton came with give underfoot and it was 'heavy' last time at Chepstow when he just ran out of time in attempting to overhaul Twilight Glory.

Both that rival and the third home, Stellar Dream, were winners next time and Haston Clermont still looks to be on a nice mark now.

Ground and trip are favourable and he's fancied for further success in his quest to make it three wins in five chasing starts.

Kempton 19:00 – Beauen Arrows @ 13/2

Michael Attwater's BEAUEN ARROWS remains a maiden after 17 starts but served notice recently that his status may change soon with a good second at this track over this trip.

The five-year-old had dropped to this career-low rating of 50 and was returned to positive tactics after missing the start and never getting involved over 6f here three days prior.

He ran well but was overhauled by the favourite Indie Skies late on, that rival making good on the money that went down for him on his first start for new trainer Mick Appleby.

The five-year-old was clear of the rest in that contest and the third won soon after around Chelmsford, so from an unchanged mark and with the red-hot Rossa Ryan taking over in the plate, Beauen Arrows is fancied to get that first win.

Kempton 20:00 – Rogue Dream @ 6/5

Trainer Jack Jones will be hoping to see his filly ROGUE DREAM go a place better than she managed on Saturday evening in her handicap bow at Wolverhampton.

The Dark Angel filly was well held in two starts last year for Tom Clover and, again, on her stable bow at Chelmsford last month over 6f after 260 days off.

She shaped as if in need of that outing and duly improved off an opening mark of 50 at Dunstall Park over the weekend when stepped to this 7f trip for the first time.

She came clear with another lightly-raced improver from the George Boughey yard in Sunblock and should be good enough to oblige now from an unchanged mark with every chance of more progress under Dylan Hogan.
