Lucky 15 Tips: Ryan at the double – why not?

Included in Wednesday's racing is an attractive six-race card from Salisbury (kicks in at 18:30), and several of the top jocks are on duty (Murphy, Turner, Ryan, Buick at al).
That'll do for me - it's to Wiltshire then for our Lucky 15 tips on July 24. Goodwood is looming, with York not long after - racing's high-summer goodies, beautifully wrapped and awaiting our pleasure ... yes please.
Lucky 15 Tips Wednesday
Salisbury
18:30 - Priapos @ 2/1
Two-year-olds kick off our Lucky 15 - well, one in particular, hopefully. A penalised son of Zoustar, trained by Ralph Beckett and ridden by Rossa Ryan.
Priapos is one-from-one, scoring nicely in a Windsor maiden 30 days ago. That means he's carrying 7lb more than his rivals today, not easy, but this one holds an entry in York's Group 2 Gimcrack Stakes at next month's Ebor Festival, and if that's realistic he'd like to be putting this field to the sword en route.
Some good yards oppose and of course there could be some potential lurking ... but I'm happy to row in with winning form and hope the colt can defy the rise.
19:40 - Bama Lama @ 4/1
Another sprint, minimum trip this time (5f), and a selection trained in Devon by Rod Millman.
Bama Lama is another arriving after a last-time win, a neck success at Ffos Las under today's claiming jockey Oliver Searle a fortnight ago. It was just about a career-best from the six-year-old mare, and has only been nudged up 2lb by the handicapper.
Nice draw to work with (2), and has a bright chance of following up.
20:10 - Echo Lima @ 9/4
A one-mile Class 5 handicap, and that man Ryan once again in the plate.
Echo Lima is a three-year-old Kingman filly carrying the legendary Juddmonte silks. She's had three progressive runs and so makes her handicap bow at this realistic level, rated 73. Connections will be hoping she soon leaves that mark behind, and that journey can begin on Wednesday night.
The excellent Ralph Beckett, enjoying a fine season, trains.
20:40 - Godsend @ 10/11
In the nightcap we're going with a Sir Mark Prescott/Luke Morris conveyance over the extreme trip of 1m 6f.
Godsend is a three-year-old gelded son of the mighty Nathaniel; a stallion who got pretty much as close as anyone ever did of beating Frankel, on the great champion's debut at HQ.
Prescott and Morris have been popping in the winners in recent weeks and after looking as if it might suit Godsend gets a step up to 1m 6f after finishing well at a couple of furlongs less the last twice - including an emphatic win at Ripon.
He's up a pound to 65 but I don't see that as a barrier, with every chance that the new trip will unlock that little bit more in terms of performance.
This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £147 for your total £7.50 stake.
