Lucky 15 Tips: Expect a walk in the park for Marlay

There’s a sizzling day of racing across Britain and Ireland on Wednesday with meetings at Chepstow, Epsom, Thirsk, Worcester and Tipperary.
Check out my Lucky 15 tips for Wednesday's action below, including Always Busy who reverts to chasing at Worcester.
Lucky 15 Tips - Wednesday, July 2
- 14:45 Worcester - Always Busy @ 8/1
- 16:15 Worcester - Tropical Speed @ 11/2
- 16:50 Worcester - Al Mootamarid @ 9/4
- 21:00 Epsom - Marlay Park @ 8/1

14:45 Worcester - Always Busy @ 8/1
Always Busy looked like a progressive chaser when scoring over fences at Southwell in May and Christian Williams’ charge can get back to winning ways, reverting to the bigger obstacles at Worcester.
The seven-year-old finished down the field over hurdles last time out, but Always Busy is a far better chaser and it’s still fairly early days for the gelding.
Williams’ runner has won twice and finished second on two occasions in seven starts when chasing and the performance when winning off a mark of 103 at Southwell left a good impression.
Always Busy stayed on strongly to score by seven lengths at the Nottinghamshire venue and that effort suggested there could be more to come.
16:15 Worcester - Tropical Speed @ 11/2
Tropical Speed gets the blinkers for the first time in the 16:15 at Worcester and the gelding can score for the potent team of Olly Murphy and Sean Bowen.
The six-year-old disappointed at Uttoxeter last time out, but the gelding had previously ran a good third at Ffos Las and won impressively at Stratford.
Those efforts suggested the winning wasn’t done and the first-time blinkers could see Tropical Speed back in front.
16:50 Worcester - Al Mootamarid @ 9/4
The last play at Worcester is Al Mootamarid in the 16:50. Dominic Elsworth’s hope won by just a length at Stratford last time out, but the four-year-old was good value for the winning margin and can follow up here.
Al Mootamarid has been nudged up six pounds for the Stratford success, but the gelding has only five starts over hurdles and the new mark shouldn’t prevent a strong performance.
21:00 Epsom - Marlay Park @ 8/1
Marlay Park is a four-time Epson winner and the latest of those victories came off a mark of 79.
Jim Boyle’s runner is down to a rating of 73 for this race, and a good second at Leicester in April suggests the seven-year-old can still be competitive in this grade.
All of Marlay Park’s four wins on the Downs have come on good or good-to-firm ground and conditions in the 21:00 contest should be ideal.

The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £XX for your total £7.50 stake.
