There are three UK race meetings on Wednesday, with jumps fare from Haydock and Huntingdon joined by the evening all-weather card from Southwell.

Below we've put together a Lucky 15 selection from across the cards for the midweek action.

Lucky 15 Tips - Wednesday, March 19

  • 15:05 Huntingdon – Tara Iti @ 5/4
  • 15:50 Haydock - Wrappedinrubies @ 4/1
  • 16:07 Huntingdon – Galactic Charm @ 6/5

15:05 Huntingdon – Tara Iti @ 5/4

TARA ITI was having his first spin over hurdles for new trainer James Owen when scoring at this venue seven days ago.

That was over two miles on good ground and after he'd enjoyed a spin on the all-weather at Lingfield in his first run for this stable.

Henry Brooke was on board and the partnership cruised into contention before taking things up at the second last and going on to win by an easy three-and-a-quarter-lengths.

On that evidence, a step up in trip under the 7lb penalty here should not prevent further success.

15:50 Haydock - Wrappedinrubies @ 4/1

Presenting Doy and Miss Ireland, split by a nose when finishing first and second at Lingfield last month, are likely to prove popular again for this Le Willows Mares' Handicap Hurdle, but WRAPPEDINRUBIES could leave them both playing support roles.

The Milan mare won at Catterick (2m3½f, good) in December on her return from a break. Donald McCain's charge was then well held at Bangor-on-Dee last month from 4lb higher in the ratings, but testing ground may have been a key factor there.

Her Catterick win is the only time in a six-race career under Rules that she has encountered decent conditions underfoot and she will get that again now. First-time cheekpieces are also deployed and an improved showing is possible.

16:07 Huntingdon – Galactic Charm @ 6/5

A four-year-old son of Sea The Moon, GALACTIC CHARM hasn't been with Gary & Josh Moore too long and has already scored over hurdles at Fontwell on Boxing Day for this team.

He was handed a stiff challenge next time in the Grade 2 Triumph Hurdle Trial at Cheltenham in January where he was pulled up, but he got back on track when second at Sandown (2m, good to soft) this month behind an improving sort in Narragansett.

The pair were clear and he's only 3lb higher now dropped in grade - this looks like a good spot for him.

16:52 Southwell – Early Release @ 11/4

EARLY RELEASE won over 6f at Southwell in December for David Evans on his stable bow and can go in again at the Nottinghamshire venue over 5f.

He's still lightly raced and has run well in defeat in both starts since, finishing third at Lingfield (5f) and Kempton (6f) in his pair of 2025 starts.

The three-year-old now returns to Southwell, which is a positive being less of a speed-favouring track, and races from an unchanged mark of 64 after being denied by less than a length last time.

He can defy the rise into Class 4 company to register a second win for this stable.

This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon our selections (of course you can), then go for it!

The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £95 for your total £7.50 stake.
