Nine races on Kempton's Polytrack is irresistible in terms of providing Wednesday's Lucky 15 tips, so let's head to Sunbury-on-Thames and enjoy the action.

First race is at the quirky time of 16:13, and fingers crossed for some fabulous racing on October 16.

Today's Horse Races

18:15 - Cartwheel @ 7/2

One run so far for this two-year-old filly, four weeks ago in a Beverley maiden.

Cartwheel was only beaten 4l, running on, and her trainer Dylan Cunha has had a couple of winners in recent days. Rhys Clutterbuck takes the mount, there's precious little to go on in the race, but we do know she has some ability, and on breeding should appreciate the step up to 7f.

18:45 - Ever Hopeful @ 13/2

Aren't we all? Three-year-old Bated Breath filly, from the powerful yard of William Haggas.

Ever Hopeful was another to run at that Beverley meeting, in a 10f novice. She was a highly respectable third, and makes her handicap debut this evening.

She carries the famous Oppenheimer silks, and the superb Tom Marquand is doing the pushing. Should be very informative.

19:45 - Queen's Guard @ 10/3

Oisin Murphy is an eye-catching booking for this Clipper Logistics-owned three-year-old filly.

The daughter of Havana Grey has been very highly tried in Listed company since taking a Lingfield handicap off 80 in the summer, comfortably, and she's in calmer waters today.

Queen's Guard gets the benefit of Murphy, and could just bounce back now her sights have been lowered. Michael Bell trains.

20:15 - Electric Avenue @ 4/1

Older readers are immediately thinking Eddy Grant. Our lucky last selection is in fact another filly, one who knows Kempton well, but usually turns up at the seaside in Brighton.

George Baker trains, and Neil Callan rides. Two winners for the jockey in the last couple of days so he's in good nick - and Electric Avenue was second when last seen 29 days ago taking in the south coast air once again, after a stumble at the start.

We can perhaps mark up that effort a wee bit then, and she has a shout in a very ordinary contest.

If you're playing take care, have fun as always, and good luck.

This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!

The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.25p each-way Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £390 for your total £7.50 stake.
