Lucky 15 Tips: Kestrel primed for Gosforth Park swoop, Tuesday

Hello to you all. Hope all's well, as we look forward to another week of tip-top sport. Saturday saw us take a bit of a departure with a 'Sean Bowen Lucky 15,' but the four mounts we selected of Sean's at Wetherby finished 4-3-2-2, so no cigar there unfortunately. Well worth a blast - he's one of those jocks you just know will rattle up a three or four-timer every now and again, especially away from the day's major meeting(s).
On Tuesday, February 4 we're heading to Newcastle for our Lucky 15 tips, a seven-race all-weather card that kicks in at 16:30. Hollie Doyle is present, one of our very best in the saddle and always a potent threat.
Lucky 15 Tips - Tuesday, February 4
Newcastle
18:00 - One More Dream @ 5/2
Experienced 6f sprint handicappers line up - all but one of them a course-and-distance scorer and every single runner has won here before!
Must be something in the Newcastle air for this lot then, and I've plumped for a six-year-old gelded son of Bated Breath - One More Dream. Can't get Les Mis out of my head now, but I'm being a bit creative with the tenuous association.
John and Sean Quinn train, and Jason Hart is in the plate. One More Dream has been keeping slightly better company than this and last time, dropped to this class 18 days ago here, repeatedly failed to find clear passage towards the business end.
The talented claimer used on that occasion stands aside for the returning Jason today, and granted better luck can make the class drop pay off. Runs off a a mark of 68 today and looks potentially well-handicapped.
18:30 - Orangesandlemons @ 3/1
I've covered this selection in some detail in my companion Nap of the Day piece - kindly have a look right HERE.
19:00 - Dark Kestrel @ 5/1
This five-year-old Dark Angel gelding has been knocking loudly on the door for some weeks - time to batter it down, big-style.
Another course-and-distance winner, admirably consistent, and off this mark of 76 Dark Kestrel nearly took a slightly higher-grade affair at Southwell 12 days ago (beaten 1l).
Cam Hardie's on top, knows the horse well, and looks like a winner waiting to happen to me. Kestrel's not been out of the first four in his last eight spins - a terrific effort.
19:30 - Concert Boy @ 7/2
Time for our lucky last - and a five-year-old Kodiac gelding trained by Katie Scott in the Scottish Borders.
Concert Boy is another who knows where the Gosforth Park winning post is situated, and at this 7f trip, too. Jockey Darragh Keenan has ridden him the last twice (both here) to a win and a second, and retains the mount.
He's found his best form for some little time the last twice, and another success for this former David O'Meara-trained battler would be no surprise whatsoever.
This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £408 for your total £7.50 stake.
Fred, 'The Bonus King,' invented the 'Lucky' series of bets and their bonuses. My colleague Adam has set out all you need to know with this handy guide - take a look by clicking here.
