Lucky 15 Tips: Yeoman looks good in Wolves opener

Wolverhampton stages a nine-race all-weather card on Tuesday afternoon/early evening, so with the likes of James Doyle, Rossa Ryan and Hollie Doyle in attendance it's an easy decision to make as to where our Lucky 15 tips are coming from on Tuesday, January 28.
Lucky 15 tips - Tuesday, January 28
Wolverhampton
16:30 - Yeoman @ 13/8
The opener is a 9.5f Class 5 handicap for older horses, and we're siding with a Newmarket-trained five-year-old in the care of veteran maestro James Fanshawe.
Yeoman enjoyed a 68-day break after running third here in early November, and reappeared 17 days ago, again at this track, to finish a fine third once again, beaten only half-a-length in a similar heat over slightly shorter.
The gelding was doing his best work at the finish and it looks wise to return to the slightly longer distance where he's performed perfectly well in the past. His mark of 70 remains untouched from last time and the outstanding Danny Muscott is once again doing the steering. Terrific chance.
18:00 - Cherry King @ 6/4
A classified stakes contest now over 8.5f, and a selection certainly done no harm by the race conditions.
The 50-rated Cherry King lines up here carrying 9st 8lb, as do virtually all of his rivals, but he's higher-ranked that all bar an outsider here so in theory has a few pounds up his sleeve. We'll soon find out if that supposition can be relied upon or otherwise on Tuesday!
The four-year-old Golden Horn gelding is in decent nick too, at what is admittedly a very modest level - three close second-place finishes this very month at around this trip, and trainer Stuart Williams has again booked Sean Levey, on top the last twice, for the riding assignment.
This would be a very well-deserved and timely success if he can maximise that little advantage at the weights he appears to enjoy.
18:30 - Invincible Aura @ 7/2
There's a detailed article underlining this one's claims in my companion Nap Of The Day piece, which can be accessed HERE.
19:00 - Lovesick @ 11/2
Another Newmarket inmate, this time from Richard Spencer's yard, with George Wood in the plate.
Lovesick is a promising three-year-old Time Test filly who ran twice at two, including winning a maiden here, before reappearing for her three-year-old campaign 17 days ago at Chelmsford with an encouraging third in a restricted novice behind a nice filly of Charlie Johnston's who's gone in again since.
Sound form then, and progressive too. This is just run number four and so there's every cause to be optimistic regarding further improvement.
Course form, in-form, consistent, nicely drawn in four - lots to like about this one's chances on handicap debut.
This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £260 for your total £7.50 stake.
