Tuesday Lucky 15 Tips: Luck be a lady tonight

Popular legend confirms that Fred, 'The Bonus King,' invented the 'Lucky' series of bets and their bonuses. Want the lowdown - all the ins and outs? My colleague Adam has set out all you need to know with this handy guide - take a look by clicking here.
Lucky 15 - it comprises fifteen bets as one might imagine, with four selections. It's a Yankee with singles for those of you that are familiar with such bets - if you're not, those 4 selections are played in 4x singles, 6x doubles, 4x trebles, and a solitary four-fold. A 50p win Lucky 15 would therefore cost £7.50 (15 x .50p).
Each-way could be an option, particularly if the 'fancies' include some bigger-priced horses - and so a 50p each-way Lucky 15 would cost £15.
So, here's our offering for today. Rule of thumb for Lucky 15 bets is that you need one winner to secure a return; and if it is indeed just the one winner we'll TREBLE the odds for you!
Take a look at Adam's guide by clicking the link above for a good look at the 'Lucky' family of bets. If you fancy a play, great stuff. Good luck!
Prices can of course fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £1 win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four were successful, would return around £161 for your total £15 stake.
Lucky 15 tips, Tuesday
13.10 Lingfield - Sao Carlos @ 11/10
Sean Bowen is a fine jock who attracts plenty of attention, and is much sought-after. One of his fruitful associations is with Warwickshire trainer Olly Murphy, and they combine here.
Sao Carlos has run just the once, a Market Rasen bumper last December. Sean was on board then, and secured a winning debut. He makes his hurdling bow today against similarly inexperienced/unexposed types.
Let's hope this is a productive first day at hurdling school proper for the horse, who I understand numbers Sir Alex Ferguson and Ged Mason among his owners. A very intriguing event.
15.55 Limerick - Field A Thistles @ 2/1
Nice to pop across to Ireland for a bumper, and we've found a 'Mullins' conveyance to support. Not in the care of the legendary WP, but Margaret Mullins - although one of Willie's go-to pilots Jody Townend is doing the steering.
Two lovely runs so far at proper competitive tracks (Fairyhouse and Galway), and on the latter occasion was running on very well at the finish in a close-up fourth, under the superb Patrick Mullins.
Jody is of course the younger sister of multiple champion Paul Townend, and is in the fine tradition of Nina Carberry/Katie Walsh and others across the water - a superb horsewoman. Here's hoping she can finesse this 4-yr-old filly to success here.
18.00 Chelmsford - Tradesman @ 13/8
Ah - from one gifted lady to another. The brilliant Hayley Turner rocks up to Chelmsford on the brink of a milestone achievement - potentially her 1,000th winner no less. Tradesman bids to take this 2m Class 5 staying handicap, and deliver to Southwell's finest export this historic moment.
When it does happen (let's hope it's tonight) she'll be the first female rider in this country to have posted such a tremendous number. The horse sauntered to success here last time over 2f shorter, is penalised 7lb, and is up a notch in class. Loves it here, though - hopefully she'll lie in wait, and pounce late ..
No cake walk then - but I've a feeling Hayley's about to do something special.
18.45 Wolverhampton - Dubai Melody @ 13/8
Old firm of Appleby and Doyle, a once-raced Godolphin conveyance with Newmarket form, popping up in a Wolverhampton fillies' novice.
Super little contest this, with some big yards represented, but it's not hard to be enthused about the selection. Godolphin have serious form when it comes to hoovering up such events and after running on well over 7f at HQ she gets another furlong-and-a-half tonight to get organised and do the business.
Good luck if you're playing, and above all, enjoy!
