Lucky 15 Tips: Lingfield-bound Danny is a man on a mission

Hello again, dear reader. Glorious little break done and dusted, taking in the delights of York's Dante meeting and the Betfred Oaks and Derby trials. It's grand to be back.

For Tuesday's Lucky 15 tips I'm heading to leafy Lingfield, as are several of the sport's top jocks like Rossa Ryan, Dave Probert and Danny Tudhope. The six-race card kicks in at 14:10, and though fields are on the small side the racing looks highly competitive.

14:10 - Gincident @ 3/1

High time this five-year-old Cotai Glory gelding got his head in front once again (five career wins so far from 32 starts, the last of which was just last month!).

Trained by James Owen at Newmarket, Gincident scored at Leicester in April (7f) under James Doyle and has run three times since on a revised mark 3lb higher - being narrowly denied on each occasion.

Stepped up to today's 10f trip last time 10 days ago here at Lingers the margin of defeat was just 1.5l, and his best work was being done at the finish. Callum Shepherd rides for the first time, the horse is evidently in good order, and I'm very hopeful.

Runs again off 75, and as a closer will want a good pace to aim at. That's my only slight concern - where's the early speed going to come from?

15:10 - In A Hurry @ 11/8

The excellent Danny Tudhope makes the trip south for just one booked ride, and I'm taking the hint.

David O'Meara's In A Hurry is a three-year-old Time Test filly with two first-class runs under her belt to date - second beaten a length on debut at Newcastle last June, then on seasonal reappearance 22 days ago at Ayr was denied by just a neck in a 14-runner, one mile maiden.

Steps up to 9f today but her sire was a Group-class 10f+ winner so we should be ok on that score. Bags of speed on the dam's side (she's by champion Aussie sprinter Fastnet Rock) so all in all she's plenty going for her. Nap of the afternoon material for me.

16:10 - Hello Luna @ 3/1

Looks like trainer Johnny Portman has reached out to one of our 'top dogs' Rossa Ryan in a bid to get this promising three-year-old Hello Youmzain filly home in front at what will be the fifth time of asking.

She's only run one poor race, when perhaps not taking to a 7f test at Southwell. At Windsor 15 days ago when last seen she was a close-up fourth over a more agreeable 5f, and at this same trip today it might be exactly what's required.

Hello Luna can be the latest in a long line to benefit from the Ryan magic - and the kindly handicapper has even dropped her a pound despite that very encouraging effort last time.

16:40 - Last Outlaw @ 11/4

A four-year-old gelding now by my old friend Dandy Man, trained by Michael Keady in Newmarket and ridden by Darragh Keenan.

Last Outlaw has two wins from nine career starts and is currently on trainer number three - starting life briefly with Richard Fahey (no runs), then Michael Wigham, and last month on to Mr Keady.

In one run for new connections 10 days ago he was a creditable fourth (beaten 5.25l) in a warm 6f Ascot heat and swims in much calmer waters here - down a grade, and for a first prize half of that on offer in Berkshire.

That last spin was after a 126-day break so he's fully entitled to strip fitter this time. Terrific chance.

This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
