Lucky 15 Tips: Everything on offer at Chepstow

Tuesday serves up five race meetings across the UK and Ireland, so there's plenty of action for everyone to enjoy across the day. I've taken a good look at the cards on offer and picked out four horses to consider for a Lucky 15.

15:15 Brighton - Irezumi @ 4/1

IREZUMI is a course regular at Brighton and was a winner on this card a year ago. He has placed in two of his previous three starts here in 2025 and is well-travelled over 1m 4f, the distance for this Class 6 handicap.

Trainer Jim Boyle has applied a hood to the five-year-old, adding to the cheekpieces already fitted, for this one after he pulled out hard of the stalls on his last appearance at Lingfield (1m 5f) in June.

He had enjoyed success their in the outing prior (1m 3 1/2f) so he is expected to be a big player here off his current mark if the conditions work in his favour.

17:05 Kempton - Ballsgrove Boy @ 8/1

After another unconvincing turf run at Newmarket (July) at the start of this month, BALLSGROVE BOY returns to his comfortable environment of the all-weather circuit. The Martin Dunne-trained gelding heads to Kempton on Tuesday for this Class 5 handicap over his familiar 6f distance.

He posted a C&D victory here in May, defeating Blewburton by a half-length, so his yard will be looking for a similar performance this time around. This was followed by a third and second on AW at Lingfield and Kempton respectively, before landing another success at Wolverhampton on July 22.

The three-year-old son of Ardad has placed in all five of his AW starts for his current yard, and I think we can expect a strong run from him back at this track.

18:30 Chepstow - Over Spiced @ 6/4

OVER SPICED, for Grace Harris' yard, will be hoping for more Chepstow success on Tuesday in this Class 6 handicap over 5f , having posted a C&D victory in May, which was followed up with success at Lingfield over the same distance.

The filly's form has mostly been strong in recent months and she can be very competitive off her current mark. The three-year-old daughter of Adaay is going to be in the capable hands of Tom Marquand on this occasion, which only strengthens her credentials.

19:00 Chepstow - You Are Everything @ 15/8

YOU ARE EVERYTHING returns to Chepstow for this Class 6 handicap over 6f, having posted a C&D victory here in June. The six-year-old daughter of Belardo then followed up with another success at Leicester on her last appearance - also 6f.

The mare finished that race strongly after starting well off the pace, which was a brilliant ride from Molly Gunn, who is once again on board on Tuesday. She has steered You Are Everything to her past two victories and the pair will be gunning for a hat-trick in NP16.

The ground conditions may be an issue but this runner is still to be respected on her recent showings.

This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!

The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.25p each-way Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £440 for your total £7.50 stake.
