Lucky 15 Tips: Pull Again can win again on Sunday

We’ve got a very quiet Sunday on our hands in Britain and Ireland this week, with just the two meetings to look at. Ayr provides a seven-race Flat fixture and the jumping action is brought to us by Market Rasen.

We’ve put together some Lucky 15 tips which is well worth a play on Sunday and amongst the four selections is a last time out winner for Fergal O’Brien who looks well set to follow up.

15:10 Market Rasen - Reach For The Moon @ 15/2

Jamie Snowden is a shrewd operator and his runner REACH FOR THE MOON gets the nod here. He perhaps didn’t have the most conventional of routes into National Hunt racing, after starting his career in 7f races on the Flat as a two-year-old.

A Group 3 winner as a juvenile, he won the Solario Stakes by four lengths, before finishing second by a head in the Group 2 Champagne Stakes. Snowden’s six-year-old has two hurdle successes to his name already and another may be on the cards.

It’s easy to forgive his most recent effort, as it was his first start for 229 days and the gelding clearly needed the run. A better performance is anticipated this time around, especially after being dropped 3lb.

15:30 Ayr - The Outlaw @ 4/1

Ralph Beckett is sending a runner up to Ayr for the first time this season and he has a 20 per cent strike-rate with runners at the Scottish track.

Less prolific in recent years however, he’s had just the one winner from nine runners, but that could change on Sunday.

THE OUTLAW didn’t show a great deal in three starts at two, but has taken his form to the next level since switching to handicaps this season. Beckett’s colt has won three of his last four starts and those victories have been impressive.

More will be needed now on a 6lb higher mark, but Jack Dace continues to take 7lb off and he’s worth keeping on side for the time being.

16:05 Ayr - Desert Heat @ 2/1

This race lacks a standout contender and is a wide-open affair. DESERT HEAT makes his debut in this sphere, having had just three previous starts and is very much of interest.

Ed Walker’s colt has finished fourth in all three starts and it was a decent effort in a Class 2 at Sandown last time out. It’s fair to say that this looks like a much easier race and the three-year-old is entitled to step forward significantly now tackling handicaps.

An opening mark of 79 looks fairly workable and the best is surely yet to come from this son of Oasis Dream.

16:20 Market Rasen - Pull Again Green @ 10/3

PULL AGAIN GREEN is generally a consistent performer and he returned to winning ways with a length-and-three-quarter success at Worcester last month.

That win came over a little further, but the slightly shorter trip shouldn’t be a problem here.

The handicapper has put him up 3lb since and he produced some solid efforts off even higher ratings last season.

These include a good second off 132 in a better race at Chepstow in October, so he’ll be hard to beat if producing another solid effort.

The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £607 for your total £7.50 stake.
