Following on for Champions’ Day, the action continues thick and fast on Sunday afternoon and it includes a mightily competitive renewal of the Munster National at Limerick.

There’s also Flat action from Leopardstown as well as jumps cards in Britain from Sedgefield and Kempton. We’ve picked out our four best bets from across the card on Sunday for an each-way Lucky 15.

Lucky 15 Tips - Sunday, October 20

  • 15:50 Limerick - Hurricane Georgie @ 22/1
  • 16:25 Limerick - Shantreusse @ 17/2
  • 15:25 Kempton - Frere d’Armes @ 5/2
  • 15:35 Leopardstown - Sunchart @ 16/1

15:50 Limerick - Hurricane Georgie @ 22/1

This is always one of the highlights of the early part of the jumps season in Ireland and Sunday's feature contest at Limerick has a really competitive look to it.

Gordon Elliott has been successful in two of the last four runnings of this race and he has a really strong hand with his six runners (including the two reserves).

Jack Kennedy opts for Favori De Champdou on his seasonal reappearance but one who could be worth siding with at an each-way sort of price is Hurricane Georgie.

Unlike her aforementioned stablemate, she has a recent run under her belt and she has been dropped 1lb for her recent eighth in the Kerry National.

The seven-year-old mare had previously posted a career-best at the Galway Festival when making easy work of six rivals including the consistent Easy Game and the re-opposing Janidil. She goes well at this venue too, having won and finished runner-up in two of her three starts at the course and if a return to this track sparks a revival, she could be overpriced at double-figure odds with Betfred paying five places.

15:50 Limerick - Winner Hurricane Georgie

Odds correct at time of publishing.

16:25 Limerick - Shantreusse @ 17/2

Shantreusse ran a couple of massive races in defeat last season and while he lacks a reappearance run for this race, the son of Shantou hit the crossbar following an absence on last season's return.

He starts this campaign off the same mark and would have gone closer than his eventual seventh in the Topham when last seen if not for a bad mistake over the unique National fences.

A return to regulation obstacles should help and Darragh O'Keefe seems to get on well with the gelding.

16:25 Limerick - Winner Shantreusse

Odds correct at time of publishing.

15:25 Kempton - Frere d'Armes @ 5/2

There have been some encouraging signs of a return to form from Frere d'Armes in his most recent starts and he may represent a bit of value in the 2m2f handicap chase at Kempton.

Wind surgery in the off-season may have been the key to his return to form and with Harry Skelton taking over from a 7lb claimer, the seven-year-old ought to go close after a solid third at Worcester last time out.

15:25 Kempton - Winner Frere d'Armes

Odds correct at time of publishing.

15:35 Leopardstown - Sunchart @ 16/1

Sunchart isn't the easiest to predict but he's well capable of having a say at Listed level when he's on a going day.

Andrew Slattery's charge won a Listed race at Naas at the beginning of the campaign and he arrives following some solid runs over timber. A return to testing conditions ought to suit and he's an each-way player at double figure odds.

15:35 Leopardstown - Winner Sunchart

Odds correct at time of publishing.
