Lucky 15 Tips: Russell to make Hay at Musselburgh

There are three race meetings across Britain and Ireland on Sunday, with jumps cards at Musselburgh and Punchestown joined by the all-weather card from Lingfield.
Below is a Lucky15 selection for Sunday's action, including Hay Meadow for trainer Lucinda Russell as she bids to sign off what has already been a productive week.
Lucky 15 Tips - Sunday February 16
13:52 Lingfield - Thapa VC @ 11/1
THAPA VC ran on strongly from the back of the field over course and distance nine days ago, finishing third as Rey De La Batalla scored.
The winner had first run and motored home strongly, with Jack Mitchell's partner finishing well to be beaten just over two lengths, having been stone dead last turning in off a pace that was perhaps too sedate.
The seven-year-old is a multiple winner over this trip at Lingfield and has a fine 23 per cent strike-rate on synthetic surfaces.
He has been placed in two of his last three runs and if this race is run to suit, he can overturn the form with Rey De La Batalla on these improved terms.
14:30 Musselburgh - Hay Meadow @ 5/1
Lucinda Russell has her team in fine fettle right now, with a treble at Kelso on Friday and she can land this Mares' Maiden Hurdle with HAY MEADOW.
She's a daughter of Wings Of Eagles and she went close on her bumper bow at Perth in September when denied by a head, before coming up short in a Listed event at Cheltenham in November.
She will have learned plenty from her hurdles debut fourth at Hexham (2m, soft) in December, when she was hampered badly at the second last and can build on that now under Derek Fox.
15:10 Punchestown - Kings Halo @ 14/1
The second of the weekend's Grand National Trials comes from Punchestown as a field of 16 tackle the 3m3f journey.
One who may be capable of a big run at a decent price is KINGS HALO for James Dullea with Richie Deegan in the saddle.
He has three wins from nine starts over fences, including last time out at Cork over 2m4f in January.
He has form here over three miles and is not exposed at this sort of staying trip and though he's up another 5lb in the ratings, he should give a good account.
16:30 Musselburgh - Cardamon Hill @ 2/1
Dianne Sayer bids for a second course and distance win of the season with CARDAMON HILL and the eight-year-old can prove equal to the challenge.
The ex-Gordon Elliott inmate has won three times over fences for this yard, most recently scoring over track and trip in November as he completed a double following his Wetherby win.
His most recent start came here over 2m4½f at the start of December and he was a solid third, just unable to close down the leaders over that shorter trip.
He's only 3lb higher than his previous winning mark and this stamina test can serve him well.
This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it! Some attractive prices today, so if you're playing might I suggest considering an each-way look?
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.25p each-way Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £1,300 for your total £7.50 stake.
