Lucky 15 Tips: Trader in market for Killarney success

It's a busy Sunday of racing action ahead with five meetings across the UK and Ireland, including jumps, Flat and all-weather fare. They go over obstacles at Killarney, Plumpton and Ludlow alongside the turf action on the level from Leopardstown while there's an all-weather card at Newcastle ensuring all palates are catered for.
My Lucky 15 tips for Sunday's action includes one for trainer Tony Martin that made a promising start for the yard recently.

13:20 Killarney - Day Trader @ 3/1
French import DAY TRADER made a very solid start for Tony Martin when finishing second at Down Royal (2m1½f, good) on Monday and he is fancied to go one better now.
The Expert Eye gelding was a dual winner on the Flat in his native land, both wins coming over 1m4½f on soft going.
He was having his first run since November at Down Royal and he jumped well throughout. He came 5½-lengths clear of well-backed favourite Kara Sacre, but was unable to peg back the winner, Black Soul, after that one hit the front at the second last.
The rivals he split had a fitness/experience advantage and this four-year-old looks the one to be on here with Keith Donoghue replacing a claimer in the plate.
14:50 Newcastle - Corundum @ 5/1
A mile-and-a-quarter awaits the 10 runners in this Class 4 handicap on the Tapeta at Newcastle and CORUNDUM could be the answer for trainer Lucy Wadham.
The Blue Point gelding signed off 2024 with a neck-second over this sort of trip at Wolverhampton, coming well clear of the remainder.
He was back from a winter break at Yarmouth (1m, good) 19 days ago and his lack of sharpness told late on in his handicap bow.
This trip appears more likely to suit and with that run behind him, improvement is forecast back on a surface that evidently suits well.
16:10 Plumpton - Hecouldbetheone @ 5/2
Victory for East India Dock in the Chester Cup on Friday provided James Owen with a fine start to the weekend and he can sign it off with a good day at Plumpton, where he has some excellent chances.
Perhaps none more so than HECOULDBETHEONE, winner of five of his 15 hurdles starts already, including a pair of wins here over track and trip.
The most recent of those was last month under his usual front-running tactics, when he put in a fine round of jumping. He didn't get his own way in front at Warwick since but should do so here with no other frontrunners, and given he's just 1lb higher than his previous win-mark, this looks an excellent opportunity.
16:45 Plumpton - Smugglers Haven @ 7/4
Aggressive tactics could also pave the way for SMUGGLERS HAVEN to record a fourth success in her last five starts for trainer Sara Bradstock.
The daughter of Elusive Pimpernel has been gaining those wins over hurdles but she was a winner on her only start in a point-to-point and should translate that form on her chasing debut.
She can dominate this contest ahead of Camino Rocio, with recent course and distance scorer Sea Invasion having benefitted from an array of headgear being applied in that win here three weeks ago and uncertain to be in the same mood now.
The odds may fluctuate between time of publication and the respective races - but a 50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections at the quoted prices, assuming all four won, would return around £224 for a total £7.50 stake.
