Lucky 15 Tips: ‘Kid’ can get us off to a flyer on Saturday

An embarrassment of riches in racing terms on Saturday, with something for everyone. I've gone through the 11 live ITV races in a companion piece, so as the all-weather has served us so well of late let's journey to Chelmsford, and their nine-race Polytrack card which kicks in at 16:30.
Our Lucky 15 tips for Saturday, November 9 are as follows then; and it's no better than evens that a Billy Loughnane conveyance turns up among them.
Lucky 15 Tips, Saturday
Chelmsford
17:00 - No Saint @ 1/1
What better way to kick off our L15 proceedings than with a Billy the Kid Loughnane-ridden handicapper, looking to defy a penalty. Didn't have to wait long, eh?
No Saint scored with authority nine days ago at Southwell in a career-best display, and Billy has ridden the four-year-old gelding, trained by Sam England, before.
The horse is a course-and-distance winner, and looks to make light of a 6lb hike for that recent victory. I think he's up to the task.
18:00 - Camera Shy @ 5/2
The brilliant Jim Crowley rides this interesting entry for trainer Michael Bell.
The two-year-old Kodiac gelding has run twice, including a debut win at HQ in a novice stakes race, but hasn't been seen since contesting an Italian Group 3 in June (finished last, heavily eased when his chance had gone).
Camera Shy was gelded soon after and reappears with an obvious chance if he retains the ability shown in the summer. Fascinating runner.
19:00 - Startling @ 5/6
David O'Meara raids from Upper Helmsley in North Yorkshire, and Mark Winn is in the plate.
Startling is a two-year-old Zoustar filly, she's a course-and-distance winner, and carries joint topweight in this nursery. The penny seems to have dropped nicely and she's beginning to show plenty of resolve on the track, as with last time out here 30 days ago (cosy win).
Up 4lb for that, and doesn't have the benefit of a claiming rider this time as booked apprentice Mark rode out his claim in the summer. Still got bags to commend her though, and I wouldn't swop.
20:30 - Penzance @ 15/8
A Mick Appleby/Horse Watchers four-year-old gelding who hasn't won since March, but has been keeping pretty hot company since.
Penzance is by one of the sires of the moment in Wootton Bassett, out of a Dansili mare. He goes well here and ran just five days ago at Kempton over a couple of furlongs further.
That Listed heat didn't seem to suit, but back at this 10f trip in a Class 2 handicap looks far more palatable. Big chance, and I like that he's turned out again quickly by his shrewd connections. Regular pilot Ali Rawlinson takes the mount.
If you're playing take care, have fun as always, and good luck.
This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £70 for your total £7.50 stake.
