Saturday’s Lucky 15 Tips: Murtagh filly looks the part

Gloriously spoilt for choice racing-wise on Saturday - and as I've already looked at the seven terrific ITV live races, I'm going elsewhere for our Lucky 15 tips.

There's an excellent meeting on the flat at Navan over in County Meath, with the likes of Ryan Moore, Billy Lee and Colin Keane in action. That'll do nicely for me! Action kicks in at 13:45.

13:45 - Red Evolution @ 10/11

One spin so far in a warm Curragh maiden, under today's jockey Colin Keane. Red Evolution sets the standard among those to have had a run, and Irish HQ form is invariably strong. Great chance, reflected in the likely price.

16:05 - Old Faithful @ 2/1

Ryan Moore and Aidan O'Brien combine with Old Faithful, up just 2lb for a narrow Naas success 28 days ago. No fancy entries for this one but evidently has some ability.

Looks trappy, but could improve now tackling slightly longer trips, as per last time.

16:40 - Declaree @ 3/1

Ben Coen rides for Johnny Murtagh, a very potent combo.

Declaree is a three-year-old Fastnet Rock filly with two progressive runs behind her. Famous colours on view - those of Newtown Anner Stud Farm Ltd - and she must have a very bright chance of losing her maiden tag.

17:15 - Doctor Grace @ 10/3

The lucky last, and a tricky-looking ten-furlong handicap.

Doctor Grace is up 3lb to a mark of 59 for narrowly missing out at Cork 18 days ago, so we know the four-year-old filly is in prime fettle. The hike is unfortunate but she's scored off 58 previously and any repeat would surely put her bang there.

This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!

The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £150 for your total £7.50 stake.
