13:50 Sandown - West Acre @ 8/1
The George Scott-trained West Acre stands out in the Coral Charge that opens a belting card at Sandown.
West Acre was sent off a 4/1 chance for the Al Quoz Sprint and is a talented sprinter, who a British audience is yet to see the best of. The three-year-old son of Mehmas broke the 5f track record at Meydan in a Group 2 in the winter, while he and Symbol Of Honour almost did the same in the 6f one at that track.
Symbol Of Honour is among the favourites for the July Cup next weekend and West Acre, who wasn’t seen to best effect in the King Charles III Stakes last time when drawn on a wing, can step forward for that first start in two and a half months down in class with conditions to suit.
14:05 Haydock - Many Men @ 11/2
Many Men has won three of his past five handicaps and can keep up the good work in the 1m6f contest for three-year-olds at Haydock.
A son of strong stamina influence Study Of Man, Many Men was an impressive winner on his first attempt at this distance at Doncaster last time, becoming done for toe as the pace lifted before his endurance kicked in.
He is on a sharp upward curve and his previous third at York received two big boosts at Royal Ascot, with the winner holding off the subsequent Irish Derby runner-up in the King George V Handicap and the second filling that position once more in the Queen’s Vase.
Those horses can be considered St Leger prospects, and while Many Men falls short of Group 1 level, he is well capable of picking up another staying handicap off his mark.
14:25 Sandown - Tribal Rhythm @ 22/1
Denis Coakley has a useful mile handicapper on his hands in Tribal Rhythm, who is taken to land the Coral Charge under Hollie Doyle later at Sandown.
Tribal Rhythm served up a superb performance to win at Epsom on his return, producing some quick late finishing splits, and while he failed to deal with a rise in class returned to that track at the Derby meeting, his seventh-placed finish was better than it looked at the time.
It was essential to be on the pace throughout that two-day festival and Tribal Rhythm, who was last three furlongs out, made some decent late headway. The third, fourth and sixth ran superb races next time at Royal Ascot and Tribal Rhythm can do his own bit for that form. He is lightly-raced and gives the impression there is more improvement under the bonnet.
15:15 Haydock - My Dream World @ 8/1
My Dream World has a decent shout in the Old Newton Cup later at Haydock for Ben Brookhouse.
The son of Postponed landed his maiden over course and distance last term and has been progressing this season. He shaped encouragingly when fifth on his comeback at Ascot in a race that wasn’t run to suit before overcoming some significant adversity to finish first past the past in an amateur riders’ race at York.
While he lost the race in the stewards’ room after his jockey overused her whip, stumbling around the 1m2f start forced his rider to lose her irons and that didn’t help matters as it took a while for her to regain her balance.
My Dream World is still a bit green (was hanging in the straight on the Knavesmire to exacerbate his superiority), but there is definitely an engine there and he’s had limited tries in handicaps, so there should be plenty more to come.

The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £8,999.50 for your total £7.50 stake.
