Lucky 15 Tips: Tip-top Saturday awesome foursome

We began the Festival with two good winners in our Aintree Lucky 15 tips piece, more of the same on Friday, and so we approach the final day with bags of anticipation - plus of course the small matter of the world's greatest steeplechase nestling snugly into our laps - the Grand National (16:00).
The weather's been kind, the setting a verdant technicolour delight, and magnificent horses have thrilled us all. So - let's examine day three in more detail. Hope you're enjoying it.

Time to appreciate the great Rachael Blackmore. She's on board doing the steering here for her boss Henry de Bromhead on an improving, unexposed five year-old Masked Marvel gelding.
Koktail Divin lines up for career start number seven, three of which have been for Henry since the horse shipped in from France. Leopardstown (2) and Fairyhouse have been the venues, proper Grade 1 stages, and after two placed efforts he obliged with great authority last time 33 days ago.
It's not difficult to compare Leopardstown and Aintree and it's never difficult to appreciate that in Henry and Rachael we've got practitioners of the highest possible calibre. Track should suit then, and he'll need to show us his gears if the likes of Lulamba are to be kept at bay.
Bit to find on official marks but we've surely only scratched the surface of what he might become in time, and in more exalted company.
Big chance for me, for a deadly duo who rarely leave these huge parties without troubling the judge.
14:30 - Doctor Ken @ 13/2
The defection of Myretown is a pity as that one would have tried manfully to defy a massive 15lb hike for winning the Ultima at the Festival, but this is surely one of the most competitive, tricky-to-solve puzzles of the whole week.
I've plumped for Doctor Ken, and the prolific partnership of trainer Olly Murphy and jockey Sean Bowen. The nine-year-old Doctor Dino gelding returned at Kempton in November after a 616-day layoff, running extremely well to be a close second and matching a career-high Racing Post rating into the bargain.
This is undoubtedly a very good horse but one who has been plagued by problems (six significant 'breaks' of 60 days and higher, plus one wind operation). If that last run can be built upon (up 2lb today) then the horse is eminently capable of taking this, and that would be a highly-fitting reward for the admirable patience shown by connections.
The horse runs in the famous colours of major stable patron Mrs Diana Whateley, carried to many a victory by the likes of Betfred ambassador Richard Johnson back in the day for Peter Hobbs (Captain Chris among many).
17:00 - Only By Night @ 7/4
Grade 1 novice chasers now, over the minimum 2m trip.
A small but select field line up, including the second and fourth in the Arkle - Only By Night and L'Eau du Sud. The selection is trained by Gavin Cromwell in County Meath, and will once again be ridden by Keith Donoghue.
It was an outstanding personal best from the seven-year-old mare, while the Team Skelton adversary was pretty much running to the same level of form he'd displayed on his previous three runs. There may, therefore, be more to come from the Irish horse, who already has half-a-dozen career wins from just 11 starts.
Cracking contest, should be a no-hiding-place thriller, and I'm very hopeful.
17:35 - Le Labo @ 7/1
The closing heat of the 2025 Grand National Festival from Aintree is a prestigious G2 bumper (NH flat race), that's attracted a maximum and highly-competitive field of 20.
Most of the big yards are represented, and there's a strong Irish presence, as one would imagine. One of their number is my selection Le Labo who represents Joseph O'Brien. This five-year-old Mount Nelson gelding out of a Westerner mare has had just the one outing, overcoming understandable greenness to prevail grittily at Thurles in a field of 18.
There's bound to be stacks of improvement to come as a result of that learning experience, and in Mr O'Brien we have a proverbial chip off the old block who's a force to be reckoned with in any arena.
We hope so much here at Betfred that you've had/are having a brilliant Aintree, and heartfelt thanks for your greatly appreciated company this week.
This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £1,290 for your total £7.50 stake.

Place a Lucky 15, Lucky 31 or Lucky 63 on Horse Racing or Greyhounds, and if all your selections run and only one of your selections win, get 3, 4 or 5 times the odds of your bet as cash.
