Lucky 15 Tips: Burke and O’Brien present United Front

Frankly stunning racing on Saturday September 28, and it's a tough choice as to where our Lucky 15 tips are coming from. We'll leave aside the ITV races covered in our companion piece, so let's look elsewhere for some of the day's other highlights. By the way - two good winners and a non-runner yesterday at HQ (10/3 and 9/2), securing a small profit and a good end to a challenging week, with ground variations courtesy of the unpredictable weather always tricky.
How about the jumpers for a change - at Market Rasen? The National Hunt season will soon start to really stretch its legs, and when you see the Bowens, Skeltons and others doing their thing as we can on Saturday in Lincolnshire, it certainly gets you thinking. Here we go ... action kicks in at this meet @ 14:53.
Lucky 15 Tips, Saturday
Market Rasen
15:30 - Liam Swagger @ 5/4
Respectable Flat middle distance gelding, Gredley family-owned, and in the care of James Owen at Newmarket.
Liam Swagger was rated 82 on the level at best, and that's comfortably the highest from amongst this field of youngsters. He's making his hurdling debut, but I've a feeling such a promising recruit, carrying these famous colours, will have been well schooled for this.
'Rasen' is a very fair test for a novice, and Sam Twiston-Davies has been booked. Very interesting.
16:05 - Another Day Out @ 5/2
The absolutely brilliant Sean Bowen, champion jockey material and then some, rides this cosy last time out scorer for trainer Martin Keighley.
Another Day Out is a six-year-old mare that's been admirably consistent, and steps up to 3m - though she did win a point at the trip 18 months ago. Ran as if the step up would be no issue last time when moving up to just short of today's journey, making all.
That was 124 days ago but I like her chances - every post a winning one once again perhaps? Come on Sean.
17:10 - Jet Plane @ 5/2
A Skelton family conveyance, arguably a little bit hit and miss, but on a going day very capable indeed.
Jet Plane is now eight and is rated a mile above these, therefore giving away lumps of weight. He's won here before very easily and looks to repeat the feat off a mark 9lb higher. Dare I say I'm very confident? Looks like I just did. Different gravy.
17:45 - United Front @ 7/2
Fergal O'Brien trains, Jonathan Burke rides.
The seven-year-old War Front gelding has been raised a pound for a decent second at Newton Abbot four weeks ago and significantly it was just about a career-best effort.
He began life with Aidan O'Brien and has a little touch of quality about him, albeit at a very ordinary level. United Front stretches out another furlong-plus, which on recent run-style looks sure to suit.
If you're playing take care, have fun as always, and good luck.
This is an example of a Lucky 15. If you can improve upon my selections (of course you can), then go for it!
The odds can fluctuate between publishing our pieces and race-time. As a guide, a £0.50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections, at the prices, and assuming all four won, would return around £180 for your total £7.50 stake.
